When is the NFL draft ? Do the 49ers put him on that or does Hayne automatically go on it in an effort to be drafted to another team?

To be eligible for the draft, players must have been out of high school for three years and must have used up their college eligibility before the start of the next college football season. Underclassmen and players who have graduated before using all their college eligibility may request the league?s approval to enter the draft early.

Players are draft-eligible only in the year after the end of their college eligibility.

I don't think he can enter the draft as it is a rookie draft, not a free agent draft.

Ram, from what I understand the issues were with the previous Chairman, who as we know was responsible for organising multiple TPAs which were not paid across a number of players

I know that not liking the current Chairman appears to be popular culture, only have to look at TheFilthySpammers to see that.

From what we are seeing, the board is working hard, we have new training facilities etc which were all started under the current stewardship

Maybe we always needed someone who was Parra focussed than a "high flying" businessman that seems to be the must have from a number of people

Think we need to understand that these media driven pelicans like Slothfield and Bee Sting head just want to create division at our club, we don't want to give them breath if possible.

I don't even think the purpose is division or favouratism, news' readership (the ram) just loves to whinge, and news will serve it up all day (and do, as gronk provides an example above)

The ram reckons sharp aborted the eels club because it was too good, that's a good enough reason, and that they are dopes no matter what Hayne does.

i choose not to read most papers now cause they have all resorted to this type of journalism and instead get my news from here and other social media, I ignore most of what they say and have only chimed in cause it has filled the last three pages.

If this is true then the chairman should go.

I mean add to that the fact that he and the board torpedoed the best third party sponsorship scheme(as proposed by Bill Moss) I ever heard of, which by the way would have seen Kieran Foran and now Jarryd Hayne, if he returns, easily fit into our cap, but he has issues with the number one player manager in the game.

Please tell me it ain't so.

I don't care what people say, but other then Steve Sharp vetoing everyone and opting for coach Brad Arther, he and the rest of the board are useless.

If Hayne does come back to league and we don't sign him, I would put the blame squarely on the shoulders of our admin no matter what the press or the apologists say.

In fact if Hayne were a Roosters junior:)lol:, I know, I know, ridiculously funny huh?) but lets just imagine in a crazy parallel universe somewhere this were the case, I dare say, someone like Politis, would have already convinced Hayne, like a father figure, to come home and made it so comfortable and easy for him to make that decision.

Instead we have an admin that gets major player managers off side and stays silent and at a distance from him and probably are praying that his loyalty will win the day. Yeah I know, the apologists will point out the "what do I know or don't know that the admin is doing" chestnut, but this is Parra we are talking about.

Besides as we all know there are very, very few secrets in league and we would have for sure heard some whispers somewhere down the line by now that we are actively making moves to bring our boy home if that was what indeed he wanted to do.

But no, nada, zilch, zero, nothing, from us. Time will tell, but if Hayne does re-sign with Parra, it will be due to his unwaivering loyalty to our club and very little to the boofheads who are in charge unfortunately.

never go full genius

Thanks for your attempt to clarify Delboy, but I was only responding to the poster who said that it was the current chairman.

So who is right? Only make it even more confusing. But like I said "if" it is true it is very poor management and will only harm our club no matter what you idiot apologist say or think.

I suppose these are opinions. To bad they are mostly the musings of an idiot.

Maybe if you read what EMJAYCEE posted you would see that it is in fact satire "emjaycee.imagination.com understands".

Nope. If a player (could theoretically be any person in the world) does not go to College upon finishing high school, they are eligible for the draft in the year that would be their 1st year of college. Jarryd has already been eligible for the draft once (the year after he left school). He can't go back into the normal NFL draft. And why would he want to? He has a better chance of being picked up as a free agent.....that way anyone who wants to sign him can do so.

Oh and if anyone is wondering, I am not in a bad mood or angry, I just couldn't be f**ked about being mealy mouthed about the management of our club after 30 years of excuses.

Sorry, but people that make excuses about why our club can't do this or that, can go stick it!

Until we start winning both on and off the field and that includes premierships, excuse peddlers are full of sh*t and totally and foolishly wrong.

And I am totally and brilliantly right.

The proof is in the Premiership. Oh what's that again? We haven't won one in 30 years you say?

Precisely, we are losers and I hear losers have a penchant for an excuse or two.
