Dylan's a very good international player;a test player,like Sam!!

The only difference is Sam is making 4 times the money.

I think Dylan will tell Sam to f--k off,I reckon!!

if dylan stays, he'll be making at least twice as much in 2017 as what he is on now

i'm not sure if dylan makes the aussie side at the moment if the aussie side is at full strength, but he is very good.

technically sam is only using up $500,000 of the cap, which is what dylan would be on at souths in 2017, if he accepts it

i really hope dylan stays. he is a very important part of the team

Will have to see how it plays out. There is a lot going on behind the scenes I reckon.

Sammy boi will get into Dylan if he stays and plays up!!!! Sammy has great leadership.

If Dylan stays I move Goodwin to the wing pushing Gray to 20th man and Oldfield out of my 20 man squad.

Oldfield will have to prove himself with Norths.

does oldfield have bad defense or something? he looks really good in attack. he is very quick and looks good under the high ball. he is a decent size and looks a really good finisher. he looks better than gray and goodwin to me, but i admit that i haven't seen all of oldfield's games

I haven't seen him defend or seen much of him in general.

I hope Oldfield goes very well.

The potential is there.

I am going off what I reckon Madge will be thinking:

1. GI (C)
2. AJ
3. Goodwin
4. Auva'a
5. Gray
6. Keary
7. Reynolds
8. G. Burgess
9. Cook
10. Tyrrell (Madge likes Tyrrell a lot)
11. Turner (Madge's favourite and new pet now Lowe is gone, you should know this alien)
12. Sutton
13. S. Burgess

14. McInnes (Madge told him to stay so will stay loyal to him)
15. Grevsmuhl (Madge likes using him for impact)
16. Grant
17. T. Burgess

18. Clark
19. Carter
20. Oldfield

21. Brown
22. C. Walker

23. Z. Musgrove
24. Olive
25. J. Gosiewski
26. H. Hunt (from Storm)

Then we have guys like:

B. Gray
A. Crichton
C. Whitelaw
I. Simone
T. Saumamao

Well it's happening, you know Madge will go that way too.

I'm right behind Bryson our members player of the year in 2015 and he always gives 110percent.

We wouldn't be doing much if he remains in the side. Good depth player but not as a starting player.

Well Madge will have him starting as I have said and rightly so imo.

2014 we win the premiership Goodwin was not a main feature in our line up 2015 we come 7th the worst position under Madge as head coach Goodwin was a main feature 6 try's in 25 games. I think Goodwin has to go and I question why the club would re sign him for another 2 years

So you're blaming our 2015 campaign on Madge choosing Goodwin, who played admirably during the 25 games?

I think the key once again will be bringing up juniors who can play up to first grade standard, with GI and Sam Burgess doing their thing.

Obvious, I know, but we definitely need the likes of Crichton, Brock Gray and Musgrove to be ready to step up if need be. Some might even feature in the regular team.

Barring injuries and even without Walker I think we can do well in 2016. It'll definitely be enjoyable to see what happens and who ends up playing where.

Yes, 2016 should be a year where some start to step up.

didn't olive leave after the 2015 season? are you sure musgrove and gosiewski are in the top 25 squad? the first grade squad is only 25 players. it's only the top 25 players that counts towards the first grade salary cap. some of those players you named would be signed on a second tier/nsw cup contract

Good depth player but not as a starting player.

i tend to agree with this. however if someone else is signed to replace goodwin in the starting side, it may have to be someone who can kick goals, because with issac luke and dylan walker gone, without goodwin, who would be the backup goal kicker??? this is one reason goodwin might get the first grade spot. i'm pretty sure hiku has kicked a few goals in first grade before, so he would be a pretty good signing to replace dylan

I am gobsmacked too. Goodwin was the members player of the season and rightly so.

I know you think the same as me re Goodwin R95. Goodwin does a solid job for us.

The rest of your post is spot on mate.

I expect it to be a break out year for Musgrove.

Gosiewski is one to remember too.

i don't think he would be if someone like hiku was signed

We don't have enough for that.

Sam isn't officially signed yet either as Greenburg has come out and said.

Penrith have said this afternoon they want Grevsmuhl for 2016 and have said its up to Souths to release him now. I think we will have to release him.

i think he is fine to keep as a back up player in the 25 man squad, as long as he isn't on too much coin

I was mainly talking about his age and how injury prone he has been the past few years plus he doesn't really cross the white line like a centre/ winger should also is terrible under the high ball and has his defence issues.

See this is where I call BS, panthers said they could fit McQueen under there cap but they can fit Grevsmuhl? Come on
