You can still be a star whilst having too many errors in your game. SBW is another example of a star player who could reduce his errors.

It is obvious how souffs have cannibalised the team, you don't need me to tell you. Let's just see what happens next year and we will see who is right.

I think the implication is that the push to get Sam back was instigated well back into last season & that Stewart & Luke were pushed out also to accommodate him.

Stewart wasn't really a loss.

Stewart & Luke took up a huge hunk of dosh.
Sths were prepared to back McInnes,Carter for No.9 so Luke was given a release.

Stewart was not at his best so allowing him to go was probably the best thing.

I read somewhere, on here I think,that Sam had been approached, by Maguire,well back into this season just gone.I think Sths got the nod pretty early from Sam that he would pull the pin on RU--his poor performances in the WC & the bagging from the pommy RU mob made up his mind.
The Walker offload finally paved the way; although there still seems to be Scap probs.

The Grevsmuhl case was in the mix too.

McQueen will go next.

now that roberts has left titans, if mcqueen goes to titans, titans might be able to pay mcqueen's full wage, so souths wouldn't have to pay any of it. in saying that, i wouldn't mind keeping mcqueen. $300,000 isn't much really. if both grant and mcqueen went to titans, and souths didn't have to pay any of their contract, then that should free up enough under the cap for roberts

I think Titans would only pay 200k of McQueen's contract. I think we will be paying 80-100k of it in 2016.

Grant is on 350k, another club won't pay that, we would have to pay part of the contract.

If Roberts comes to Souths we have enough in our cap for him I reckon.

Why on earth would we pay $350k for grant who was in reggies at the panthers ?..
