i think most coaches will now expect their number 9 to play close to 80 mins. teams would usually have their starting props go off sometime in the first half, and then come back on later in the match in the second half, so that's 4 interchanges used up already. how many mins do you think sutton and turner will play for??? hopefully sammy can play 80 mins.

Sutto about 55mins I think.

Turner may come off for a while. Alien Turner is very capable though of playing 80mins.

When Cook comes on Cam will probably come off.

Madge may not put Cook on in the first half. With 30mins left Cook could come on.

I think Madge will give Cam a bit more game time over Cook.

I don't think auva'a, goodwin or hunt will play wing. If wing was an option they would of spent some time there during the trials. It's a pretty close call between all 3. Hunt has been the best in the trials, he was continually dangerous in the CS, and used clever footwork to score a try in titans game. He also showed he has good defence.
Goodwin went good in the trials. You always know what your going to get with goodwin, he will put his hand up for hit-ups, it's his main strength.
Auva'a went ok in the trials, he scored a try in the CS, that showcased his strong running with strength and speed. In the 2nd half of the Titans game he showed he can match it with goodwin when it comes down to knuckling down and doing the grunt work. He is of course a maguire favourite and has twice taken the centre spot of goodwin in the past, 1st in 2014 on his way to a premiership, and 2nd when he shifted goodwin to the wing in 2015.
I know i personally don't rate goodwin as a centre, he's the only rabbitoh i repeatedly criticize, and on this forum it's really love him or hate him. He's supporters on here will greatly exaggerate everything he does, to the point of he's getting a repeat set in the CS mase him one of the players of the match. Now i think it's a pretty close call on who out of the 3 make it, and if goodwin makes it he has deserved it, but personally in the trials I think hunt and auva'a have showed they can do what goodwin does well (grunt work) but goodwin hasn't quite done what hunt and auva'a do well (provide a threat in attacking situations and look comfortable in defence)
All 3 got equal minutes in all the trials so i think centre is the most open position for round 1 selection

Like alien and Southsport plus myself have said, our best centre in the trials has been Goodwin closely followed by Hunt.

Stop the bias and hatred against him!!!!

Bryson has played extremely well in the trials.

Get behind Bryson and stop nitpicking areas to criticise as that's what you're doing.

I have nothing against Goodwin. I'd play him on the wing. If he misses playing centre, his trial form warrants him getting a start.
However if Madge decides to go with Auva'a and Hunt I think it shows the direction he wants to go in terms of youngsters looking forward. However he is a pretty loyal bloke and would not surprise me to see Goodwin start.

My back 5 would be

Oldfield

Then we have Gray, Goodwin, Nielson, Murphy, Hughes, Olive as back ups.
Not a bad position to be in realistically. A fair amount of depth and young raw blokes chomping at the bit.

Goodwin will be there.

He has been very very good in the trials and been the best centre.

Bryson may end up on the wing but will be there as I said.

As I said before, Olive has mostly played centre, so it's not surprising that he has been struggling under the high ball, I think he is worth perservering with in the lower grade though.

i was at the game with my family yesterday bryson just gets better the sour point was ryan james spear tackle on GI i was agasp for GI when it happened.cook had a good game sammy tried along with keary whom played well i think gray needs to go to the bears with mcinnes all in all it was just a trial.hey r20 keary and reyno will have a pretty good year i perceive.reyno was in his black rabbitohs shorts and shirt attire i thought he was suppose to play i think he was on the draw card even though i didn't see it.

I told you about Bryson.

poor sammy was 20ft deep in fans he was by far the most popular player signing autographs he was lifting babies and taking pics for the fans i had a slight word to him he said how are ya mate i said good sammy see you in sydney soon what a great ambassador to our game and club.all the boys did autographs on the field for an hour after the game and even madge was bombarded with fans i had a word to madge and only him and i know its confidentiality.

I hope you told Madge how good Bryson was

Regardless I'm confident he will make the round 1 backline.

I just think Gray has made a couple of silly defensive errors in the first 2 trials and looks a little slow,maybe he just needs 3 or 4 weeks of regular footy with norths.Oldfield is solid without being spectacular,imo.
