He isn't eligible.

Correct. Phil Rothfield's column today is that Greenberg should intervene and change the eligibility criteria so he can. Rothfield bases his point on it being "farcical" Radradra is eligible for Australia yet not to play for NSW (nor Qld for that matter).

As to form, on form I cannot see how you could pick Josh Dugan for NSW at the moment. Some people are saying he was NSW's player of the series in 2015. So what? His form, to date, has not been great, and unless people have forgotten, we lost in 2015. We need to pick players based on current form, and on current form, Tedesco is the best option at fullback for mine and Dugan is no where near being in the top dozen centres nor wingers eligible for NSW.

I didn't read that article, but I did laugh seeing the little excerpt about Radradra not being able to represent his "home state". Would never have known Fiji was in NSW if not for good ol' Buzz.

It is farcical indeed, and they should change eligibility rules. He should not be allowed to play for Australia either.

I know this won't happen but I would shake thing up a bit. Bring in some new players but keep some experience as well. Players I leave out don't necessarily deserve it.
1- Tedesco. Form player. Fast, try scorer. Freak
2- Ferguson. Big,Strong,Fast. Great finisher.
3- Dugan. Proven at this level,in this position. He and Tedesco both have to be in.
4- Morris. Back to preferred side. Experienced campaigner.
5- Wighton. Big, strong, great under high ball. Good at bringing ball out of own end. Partnered with Morris.
6- Maloney. Unfairly dumped due to yellow dress fiasco. Classy half, great goal kicker.
7- Hodkinson. No option due to injury and suspension.
13- Trbojevic. Best middle defender in NRL. Huge motor, young bull. Time to move on from Gal.
12- Frizell. Strong ball runner, good defender. Threat on the right edge.
11- Graham. Strong player with ball skill. Takes over from Birdy.
10- Tamou. Peak of career. Incumbent, needs to lead the pack.
9- Farrah. No options. Provides experience to a young pack.
8- Woods. Young incumbent. Makes metres, needs to lift.

14- J Reynolds. Utility value and brings great energy fro the bench.
15- Klemmer. Incumbent. Young and aggressive. A keeper.
16- Merrin. At the peak of career. Experienced middle forward. Needs to lift.
17- Cartwright. Has errors but can bust game wide open. Risky but worth it.

You don't have to agree. I don't expect you to. Just my thoughts.

Bird and Gallen should be there and no Jennings? You mad?

When looking at outside backs, Tedesco should be top of the pecking order outside of the regulars. I wouldn't mind shuffling the backline to get him into the FB position.

1. James Tedesco
2. Josh Morris
3. Michael Jennings
4. Josh Dugan
5. Blake Ferguson

Only player really out of position would be Josh Morris but I'm sure he could switch to wing without any problems.

Next guys in line would be James Roberts, Josh Mansour and Jack Wighton.

I'm sticking with this backline.

Ennis sigh. How shit was his service in game 2 last year? Farah is easily still our best unfortunately. We are so thin at hooker.

Tedesco's defence last night convinced me that he is ready.

No way the selectors will agree with me though. Bunch of f**king clueless merkins.

That halves combo is the best one that NSW could offer up! Not sure about Paulo ot Vaughn (Woods 100% should be there, and starting) and I'm a bit suss of the right edge combo of Dugan/Fergo, but not a terrible team.

For me the only positions I'm not certain on is the halves and who the utility should be.
