I find this rivalry of quite quite humorous at times. Both clubs have some serious drop kick fans trying to take some stupid moral high ground while taking pot shots from it.

Any Cowboys fan that says the round 4 game meant nothing, go tell that to Green, JT and the rest of the players. These guys play with everything every week, and the crying foul over the loss by them and Cowboys fans says the opposite as well.

As for the grand final, whilst I cheered for my side to the bitter end, there was always a part of me that was very happy for the Cowboys. There are very sore losers within the Broncos fan base that's for sure, they are certainly matched by some arrogant poor winners in the Cowboys ranks.

I personally hope atleast one of these sides make the grand final, both would be better considering the standard of the games.

They've got a couple of years to win another one, once JT moves on.. she's a rocky road ahead

I think they are smarter than that. They will still have Morgan and Granville, plus they have some great juniors coming through. Cowboy's may drop slightly when Thurston retires, but I think it will only be slightly and then they'll pick up again and be title contenders. Green has come through the roosters and Broncos c o aching ranks, he is very smart and would have alot from those clubs with regards to developing players and keeping a roster strong over time and through player retirements.

Kiwi, I honestly haven't seen any poor winner posts from any of tbe NQ fans in here.

A bit of shit talking but that is always going to happen post GF but I haven't seen anything untoward.

This thread was started by one of your own in here I might add, but dickheads like that don't taint my opinon of the decent fans such as yourself, BP, blaza and a few others.

I saw more than my fair share of piss poor winning behaviour in NQ by broncos fans after games when we would get towelled up in those early years. It's very hard to forget 10 years straight of having to cop deluxe shit from f**kwits at games whom have probably never even been below the tropic of capricorn let alone Brisbane.

Like said early, we will no doubt drop a bit post JT retirement, but we have a good crop of kids coming through, google Kalyn Ponga, the kid is going to be special. Fingers crossed we can keep hold of him.

Green is more important than JT IMO.

The games we've won over the past couple of years have been on the back of our defense and forward power. JT is the cherry on top now, not the whole cake.

All we need is a competent organiser. We'll have enough attacking brilliance with Morgan and Ponga.

Jt will also leave over a million a year in cap space to fill the void.

Compared to some of the horrendous and boring efforts the rest of the round offered I'll take that performance with the fact that there is still dome improving left to do. Shame the bunker decided to bend both sides over and leave it's stench on what was an awesome spectacle

The Broncos this year are already showing that they're a class above the Cowboys

I don't think either team can lay claims to being a "class above" each other, NQ won the big one but I think we're evenly matched and a clutch play is all that has been the difference in our past few games

Newcastle said that about Andrew Johns.
Roosters said that about Fitler.
Broncos said that about Lockyer.

Cowboys are not the same club as the roosters or Broncos, Newcastle is more of a direction you will head. Also add it's not just JT but Scott, Cooper, Bolton & Hannant are all going to go at around the same time.

Interesting too see if taumalolo can carry that pack.
