I'm sorry to say but Thompson and Frizzell are potentially the leagues best row pairing .. Thompson is a bruising defender.. Both badly coached!! Can't imagine what Bennett would have done w both if them

If they had a decent coach like Bennett,Bellamy,Hasler,Robinson etc etc who could construct a structure to suit their strengths they would be outstanding.I'm sorry to say that if Frizzell wants to play soo he wont while he's being coached by Mary.Imo if he's not a better player than Jackson who'll know doubt play origin because he's under a decent coach than i'm a bad judge.All Mary is doing is turning players into tackling battering rams.:crazy:

Manly players were happy to see the back of Toovey. Can't be that good.

The only reason Manly players turned on Toovey was because he allowed Glenn Stewart to leave - nothing to do with his coaching ability. Unlike watmough, who left chasing big bucks in one final paycheck, Stewart actually wanted to stay, but Toovey felt his best years were gone and it was time for new blood, so Brett and his other mates had a sook about it..
guess what - Stewart was such a big dud at the Rabbits to the point they were happy for him to break his contract and head to super league.
