The BFG. Not too bad, not as good as the cartoon one though.

Ice Age Collision Course. Same old storyline with a few new jokes and alot of old ones thrown in.

Hardcore Harry. Horrible movie. No plot. Just a first person shooter movie. I hate that camera angle for an entire movie.

TMNT - Out of the Shadows. Did what it needed to do for 90 minutes and a bucket of stale popcorn.

Skipped Finding Dory though. Missus took the kids. Got an okay verdict from all.

Re-watched Ghostbusters - such a sweet 90 minute picture. Perfect blend of effects and comedy.

Also re-watched John Carpenter's They Live. LOL. Very prescient in parts.

Ex Machina - pretty interesting AI film, with a number of morality-questions in play (as they always are when this topic comes up in these sort of stories) - not sure how I feel about the ending, but that's probably me putting myself into the main character's shoes!

Vacation. Heard this was bad but I enjoyed it. Had some laughs.

Pan. Pretty bad. But I did like the performance from the (Australian) kid who played Peter Pan.

Watched Last Cab to Darwin over the weekend - Really enjoyed this. Michael Caton is brilliant as ever and the supporting cast with Mark Coles Smith as Tilly, Jackie Weaver as the Doc and Emma Hamilton as the Nurse (Julie) were really good.

I'm not sure what he has directed before but Jeremy Sims did a good job with this one...

Completely different theme but up there with Red Dog for good quality Australian movie making.

Ghostbusters (2016).

Loved it.

The cinema full of kids and their parents loved it too.

A good popcorn fun flick. Haters are gonna hate it but I don't care.

Any of Aussie friends seen Hunt for the Wilderpeople??

My cousin in Brissy told me all his Aussie mates gave seen it and absolute love it... I didn't think they would get the humour...

It's currently 100% on rotten tomatoes too...

And it made the top 100 of all time...
