i still don't know, roosters have crumbled in the past without JWH, brisbanes major weakness has been their inexperienced bench which without thiaday and mcguire is even more vulnerable. Brisbane to take at least 2 penalty goals regardless of the result

Broncos will have gotten fisted by Bennett after succumbing to a ferocious Panthers outfit from last Friday.

I expect them to come out all guns blazing to get their finals aspirations renewed.

Broncos by 14.

That's what depth is for.. and we have very little in way of backs.

The younger forwards have no experience either.

Roosters will suit up in this. "Legends round" they're calling it. Tribute to Beetson

I'm hoping having this guy on the jumper gets the Roosters home. I'm going for the Roosters by 2. It's high time they won one, and playing the Bronco's who are out of form should really help.

Match Preview:
Roosters v Broncos preview
Andrew Jackson | July 27 2016 7:08PM

Considered premiership heavyweights in the early stages of the 2016 season, two underperforming sides meet on Thursday night desperate to rise from concerning form slumps.

The Roosters, despite their six game losing streak, come into this one having shown considerable promise. Discounting their alarming 46-0 thumping at the hands of Melbourne in Round 14, the Roosters have lost their remaining games in the following rounds by an average margin of 8 points per game, with three of these only being decided by 4 points or less. Having pushed the Sharks, Bulldogs, Warriors and Eels right until the 80th minute, execution and errors have been lacking from the Roosters.

Broncos have 3 forwards out through suspension/injury. Does that mean they are in line for a 'gutsy' win?

Injury has completely f**ked our season

From what I can gather, Eden, Kahu and Nikorima are missing from the side that played in Round 1. None of them are topliners. All are due back in the next couple of weeks. Gillett didn't play last week but has been named. McGuire and Thaiday are suspended.

LOTS of teams have endured much worse injury tolls than this.

Watch us play Brisbane back into form. They are down on men, backs against the wall and we have nothing to lose.

We'll be in a position to win it but fail.

Chook.

Gillett may have been named, but he was ruled out with injury yesterday - http://www.nrl.com/matt-gillett-ruled-out-for-broncos/tabid/10874/newsid/99626/default.aspx

This is confirmed on the Broncos website too - http://www.broncos.com.au/news/2016/07/27/team_update_su_a_joi.af_news.html
