And there it is. The facts. It would be pretty stupid to sack 2 players for poor behaviour and indiscretions, only to pick another. SOUTHS dont need to be the last chance saloon.

If weve signed young talent (jennings) and have juniors they should be prioritised in regards to development and eventual playing. A signing like Locke will displace one of these guys. Then those players get given opportunities by other clubs, leave and before you know it, we have the dud left behind. #hypocrite20

Bit mixed on this one. Some players go off the rails, but when given a chance can really put their head down and over come their issues. Think mick crocker in the mid 2000s, pushed out of the rabbitohs then became the ultimate professional at the storm and roosters , both Hodges and Lyon went a bit walkabout in the mid 2000s as well but now both are considered the best centres of the last decade. Their are even a few rumours about why bulldogs let Thurston go, it's worked out well for the cowboys. There's heaps of those kind of stories from run of the mill players to.
Unfortunately there is the other side of the coin, the Carney's of the world and unfortunately we know all to well about that kind of player in Carter and auva'a

Dont think so few other sites Zero tackle etc report he is staying at cronulla for another year but he hadnt signed yet like rochow says he is coming but hasnt actually signed. Spose guzzumping can occurr money talks after all

If i had to pick between taking a 15% chance of getting Luke, but on the flipside having to settle for cook ( who most on here know I don't rate) if we don't get him, or try complete the signing of farah which is rumoured to be 90% of the way there I'd pick the 15% gamble any day.
We must immediately drop out of the race for farah if there's the slightest chance we can get bully back. Even if it does mean we are stuck with 2 reserve grade hookers if it doesn't work out
