The only thing about our recruitment that I wish didn't happen was losing Nathan Brown. Otherwise, it's been brilliant.

Don't know what Rugby League week are on about atm, they rated our recruitment a C! It's better than that!

They also missed out us (a picture of one of our players) on the 2017 draw poster where they have a picture of a player from each team! How can you miss a team out?! We're obviously too good lol.
Amateurish from RLW.

Yea it's not a big deal but how could you miss a team out?

R20, what would you grade our recruitment?
That's a hard one.

B-

There are a lot of unknowns to us.

Farah is a good signing. Cherrington and Rochow are risks plus Jennings and Burns, well who knows what we will get from them.

Yea it is pretty tough. I'd give it a B+, verging on an A.

B- is a fair estimation.

Robbie turns 33 on Monday--let's hope he is still able to perform well.
As you have said--the rest are iffy & of unknown quantity!!

Lots of new kids on the block,a Qld Cupper & one with horrendous body problems.

B- is fair at this point--but the lot of those players have potential for us so the end result could possibly be much better!

Yeah I'll give it a B.

Jennings, Burns, Fuimaono, Farah, Rochow, and Cherrington could all turn out to be very good signings. I like how we signed a few talented youngsters and a few older heads. We have a decent mixture. I think we'll make the top 8 if we have decent luck with injuries.

Personally i think a C grading is pretty generous. Going by the old A-exceptional, B-Good, C-average/pass, D-bad, F-fail.

For starters you can't really judge the rookies. Until they make their debut they are unknown quantities. Some highly rated youngsters flop once making 1st grade, while some who weren't really rated forge out great careers.

Outgoing, we lost a lot of talented youngsters. While some had off-field issues their talents would be missed. We lost 2 from our starting gf side ( auva'a and keary). We lost talented youngsters in Grevsmuhl, brown, mcinnes, Carter and j.burgess. we also lost a journey man winger in Oldfield.

Incoming players with nrl experience are all, as doyen said, iffy.
Farah is our biggest signing and while he did play Origin last year he also finished the year in reserve grade. He has had a fairly bad last seasons at club level.
Rochow is a good 2nd rower, but he has played little football over the last 3 years.
Jennings debuted early in 2015 and has only played a handful of games
Cherrington debuted in 2008 and has played 19 games total. He hasn't played nrl for 5 seasons.
Kelly is coming after a stint as a backup halr at the eels.
None of those guys really inspire much greatness.
We are even going into the year without a first grade standard winger. It's likely we will either have to play a centre (jennings or goodwin) or a rookie (burns)

That might have been more because of Jason Taylor, who just wanted him to pass straight from dummy half. If Madge lets him play more of his natural game, I think he'll be alright.

Gray is a centre.
We'd be pushing a good centre onto the wing because of a lack of viable wingers
Well in my opinion Gray is just as good on the wing as he is in the centres, and I'm fine with him on the wing. Jennings is also an option for the wing. Yeah he hasn't played many first grade games, but he only turned 21 this month and he had a lot of quality competition at Penrith. Try to be positive!

Issues with his former coach yes but he also wasn't playing great as well. Still don't know why we sign players just because of there name instead of there form we did that with Grant and Stewart
