you can make as many substitutions as you want before the start of the round, but only 2 trades (3 during bye weeks). yes the cheap players that you buy should be players who you think will play first grade consistently. you also have to save trades for the end of the fantasy season because that is when our fantasy comp has a finals series, and you want plenty of trades for that. once you start playing, you'll get more used to it. the origin period is tricky but it's the same for everyone, and most teams score less those weeks. before we get to the origin period, don't forget to look forward to see what teams/players will not be playing during those weeks. you have to make smart trades

you should have 13 starting players, 4 reserves, and then 8 players on the interchange (who aren't in the top 17). well that's how it used to be. one of those 8 players on the interchange should be able to be selected as the emergency. there should be a button under them or something. it shouldn't matter what position the emergency is

Callmack, I'm looking at our league settings, and "No" is selected for "Bye rounds". Does this mean bye rounds are removed from our head to head fixtures???

Can I have him in my starting side even though he's not in the real match????


Say Kyle Turner for an example. Say he regularly played/s off the bench but I wanted to start him. Is that allowed????


Also for example say I picked Farah to start but he regularly played off the bench. Can I still have him in my starting side???

R20, see how you have to select a squad of 25, but you choose the top 13? Out of the 12 reserves, you have to select 4 to be your interchange players. In regards to the emergency player, I think it selects it automatically out of the rest of the players in the 25 man squad who aren't in your top 17, and it will choose the player who scores the lowest score over 0.

I think we will only have to click on the other people's team names. It doesn't let you yet so people can't copy other people's squads.
