I read til that point then laughed so hard that i fell off my chair, i picked myself back up, read it again, then fell on the floor laughing once more

Moses may well end up better then reynolds, but he has a long way to go. He has now played 65 first grade games, hes not a kid anymore. apart from half a dozen games at the end of last year he has been a dissapointment. The tigers have had many close games, Moses has been the man to win the game but has continually failed in the clutch moments aside from a game against the warriors the last year (who are probably the only team more geniused then the tigers).

Reynolds has played 5 origins and 2 grand finals, is the only NSW series winning 5/8 in 12 years. Against souths he single handedly won his team the game. 3 days later Moses single handedly gave the Eels the game back when the Tigers had the game won.

The Tigers know what they will get frrom Reynolds and to me thats a good thing. Moses still has a huge question mark on him and the Eels dont exactly have a great track record when it comes to signing halves on big money. As someone who has seen Mitch play since SG Ball I'm very happy with the Tigers purchase of Reynolds.

Bingo.

But look who you are trying to reason with....

Don't waste logic and common sense mate.

I'd take Reynolds over Moses any day of the week and I f**king hate Reynolds.

Never understood the hype around Moses. He's probably the worst defender in the game as well.

I think he got sent off in NSW 20s for calling someone a gay merkin. Think that was the hype?

Good luck to Josh. Would have loved for him to stay at the Dogs but when you get an offer to good to refuse you have to take it

I think the Tigers have paid overs for him but they had to if they wanted him to leave the Dogs

Having said that I think they have come out in a better position then if they kept Moses for what Parra are paying him. Reynolds is a proven half who always gives his best and is also a much better defender. Moses may end up being a better player but it is one hell of a gamble by Parra if he turns out to be yet another dud buy

. Woods is shit apparently despite 3 team of the week performances this year. Ava was always average apparently too..

What does that say about the rest of your mess? Lol

Woods is a very good first grade prop, I was happy to keep him before he completely shat on the club and has been the worst captain I've ever seen. He's game against the dogs was sensational but before that he'd put in 3 games in a row where he was probably the worst prop on the field. Tigers fans not wanting to keep woods has a lot more to do with his actions then his playing ability.

Ava is a good solid prop, apparently very professional trainer and popular well liked guy amongst the playing group. I would like to see him stay but let's not go crazy and pretend he is irreplaceable.

Well I know Reynolds is $750k a year from a private source, not the media.

Agree I don't know what Moses' contract is worth. But I'm willing to bet its going to be more than $750k.

Even if it's not - I know which club should be happier about their signing if they were on identical amounts....
MOses is getting $850K

Alright here's the story from James Hooper. James Maloney is on 550 000 to 600 000 a year which now below his market value. Hoopers suggests the Knights and Storm are reaching out to Maloney and seeing if he can get out of his contract with the Sharks which Maloney is signed up till the end of 2018.

Basically a non-story, why would it be in the Sharks interests to off-load Maloney? If Maloney was not contracted next season them maybe Hooper would have something.

Nothing to see here folks.

Moses is on 550K a year with the Eels

That's not true. BUT even if it were, that's overs.

I can't see how any Eels fan could have watched the Tigers game tonight and still be excited that Moses is coming their way. Once again he lost us the game tonight.

Yeah, I'm happy to have Ava, I like what I've seen of him so far, but he is just a good prospect at the moment, not a proven performer. Obviously I hope he kicks on and becomes better than Fifita, but time will tell.

Woods is a good prop, whose form has been way too inconsistent for the Tigers, over a number of years.

He is capable of playing well at Origin level, but many forwards in the game are better, week in, week out. So to have him mess around with contracts and act like he is DCE or something (which also didn't go down well, and he is a much better player than Woods), it rightly should rankle.

Tigers squad looks like it is building just fine anyway, and Cleary already has the team performing closer to their potential. Also looks like they kept the right one, out of Brooks and Moses.

Maloney has been terrible lately, so maybe this is playing on his mind. There is no way he would be released, and I think he is too professional to care too much about "what if" contracts for much longer. But I don't think it would hurt for us to upgrade and extend his contract. He is a proven premiership winner.
