and probably still outplay DuganI heard a rumour Johnny Raper was making a comeback. Not sure if it's true or not. Apparently he wants fullback money.
And what do we think the chances of that happening are...?We would only do that if signing Cronk. No other way.
Go the dragons.
And what do we think the chances of that happening are...?
please take that back.Ok, for a double whammy, Widdop leaves and McCrone stays!
Surely life couldn't be so cruel.
Why do you have to F…k my nights sleep ????Ok, for a double whammy, Widdop leaves and McCrone stays!

He did indeed have a blinder. And that's no rumour. The only place Widdop is going is to Penrith today and hopefully he has a blinder.
2 forwards in fact as Frizzell is also quicker than them. And we now have a forward that is faster then our two wingers
Yes Garreth was excellent today and played a real Captain's knock but didn't understand him giving up the last penalty. He did indeed have a blinder. And that's no rumour.
I agree with your post. Was at the game and said if I was Penrith I would have kicked straight away down field for a chase because Dufty was locked in to the scrum. No fullback.Yes Garreth was excellent today and played a real Captain's knock but didn't understand him giving up the last penalty.
Didn't quite understand why we packed our quickest player Dufty in at lock in the last scrum either.
I thought Sims was unbelievable today and suggest without his effort and passion today we would have also lost.
I'm betting there is more than one forward that is faster than our wingers. And we now have a forward that is faster then our two wingers

100% CORRECTIt wouldn't have worked. Dufty was already moving across field and would have had enough time to cover the kick.
I don't think it's that big a deal. The defence usually numbers up off scrums anyway and why would we give up a potential overlap? Dufty was in a place where he was able to follow the ball, cover a potential kick and obviously the wingers can drop back too to cover the extra space. I'd say we do this to have as few disruptions to our defensive shape as possible.
Every team packs scrums that wayIt wouldn't have worked. Dufty was already moving across field and would have had enough time to cover the kick.

Would rather have my fastest player in open space covering a kick or a break rather than be in a heavy traffic position where he can be run off the ball, tripped over or crashed into and then rely on the bunker to make a decision on any interference. It wouldn't have worked. Dufty was already moving across field and would have had enough time to cover the kick.
