Lurker rumor ( i know not reliable ) that Widdorp has had Super league offers. First thought that those idiots dont know how long we have got him but then again what is a contract worth now days ? Want him to stay long enough to get Graham to the club but whilst he is a good player IMO his deal is above what i would pay.

Graham to Dragons, Widdop to Super League, Kurt Mann to play 6 and a new Dragon captain, JDB or Thommo.
How good would that be plus salary cap savings.

Very unlikely...he has just signed an upgraded deal...unless he has had enough of the current coach...that would make sense...Bellamy > McGregor ....

Unless it's a misprint, Havili has been named on the Illawarra bench this weekend. I thought his injury was season ending?

Mann can provide everything Widdop has to offer. ( except goal kicking ).

Have you noted how many times he has been burned on the outside this year ? Still a great finisher but he hasn't even looked like scoring from anywhere past 20 metres out.

So true, he may have scored 15 or whatever number of try's, but he would be lucky to have run 100m for all of them, i get EVERYONE loves the FLO me included but realistically he needs to retire, like DP said he has been burnt so many times this year, probably more than all the other years combined....

Granted Nightingale has diminishing speed, however this does not present the 'full picture'.

Also, contributing to Saints being regularly caught on the left is the compressed defensive technique as employed by 'the coach'.

Personally, I'd rather maintain a slowing "Gypsy" than a lazy, error riddled, tackling deficient MacDonald every day of the week, including weekends.

Flo gives 110% each week. While McDonald give 50% only.
That might be the reason the Roosters and then titans let him go.
He look like tarzan plays like mary.

Flo is a favourite player but I think we have the two slowest wingers in the comp.Flo gives it his all. McDonald has been a huge disappointment.
We need to find some players who have good speed and defence.

I rather Nightingale and McDonald both gone but thats not going to happen.

Its to late to find anyone worth looking at and the rumours about Brenko Lee seriously he is worse then those two put together.

Lafai and Aitken do not fill me with confidence either and outside of them Herbert has been patchy for Illawarra.

In all honesty the speedy players the Dragons have are Dufty, Sailor and Field thats it.
