18 months ago they had to release Jennings because of "cap pressure". Now they can bring in Tedesco and Cronk on million dollar contracts. What a turn around in cap management. Nothing suss at all.

Didn't Parra loose points for being over future salary caps.

Seems crazy, given Izzy and G.Stewart were unable to be signed/re-signed due to the nominal value excuse.

The timing of it is weird. If they release Pearce don't they still have to pay him? I guess an NRL owned club will come to the Roosters aid and take over his entire contract for some reason even though the Roosters are over a barrel.

Pearce is on a mill.
New club will pay half of that.
Which means they will be only over the cap by 100k. Which they will easily do.
