Swap the runs and Winx wins by 4+ lengths. Bowman was forced to take Winx further forward than ideal as the track was playing awful.

Winx still won fairly comfortably in the end
So you think she runs around .8 secs quicker.

The track wasn’t aweful the 4yo broke the track record in the 1600m race earlier in the day.
Lubiton.

Lubiton.

Lubiton had another run that was caused by track patterns. Watch the race for crying out loud. Literally every race the whole weekend was leaders, leaders or in the leading pack.

She would have easily run quicker had the runs being swapped.

I'm just happy Royal Cat Symphony didn't get a place.

Honest question are you fair dinkum or trying to rev me up?
I’m thinking there’s a market for Punting For Dummies.

The track record was an aweful track caused by aweful track patterns.”

Humidors come from last.
You want Winx to swap runs but it was favouring leaders now.

Poor Royal Symphony.
The bi-polars kicked in.

Dettori is riding well though.

Thought they may have gone Nash Rawlier or Zac Purton though from Hong Kong (both Australians so would know Flemington well).

I think Dettoris riding in Australia’s improved too compared to some of his earlier rides.
A few weeks ago he rode 3 winners in a row (Ascot I think-could be wrong) but lost one on protest. He came out of the jockeys room and told (John Spencer)?that’s the only way you were going to beat me.
He’s got a new lease of life since Enable.

He is always riding well when he comes over here, doesn’t mean he doesn’t turn into an arseclown as soon as he steps onto Flemington.

I don't think it matters who rides Almandin,he has gone up a lot in weight since last year and only 5 horses have won the Melb Cup more than once,Peter Pan,Rain Lover,Archer,The Diva and Think Big,4 of those horses were absolute legends(Think Big a donkey)

Almandin is up against if old mate history is anything to go by unless he flukes it again like Think Big

In a weak year like this year- Almandin is a huge chance. 56.5 kilos is generous. Protectionist won at the same weight. There isn't really a fantastic light weight blowout chance like last year either

It’s been a pretty poor spring to be honest, CC was average, Cox Plate Field was embarrassing and the MC looks short of quality as well..

The 3 yr olds aren’t much chop bar Aloisa, add in bias tracks and some terrible rides by so called class jockeys and I’m just about ready to go Postal.

He’s a gun down the straight, not so good around a bend.

I normally don't do futures betting but i backed Redkirk Warrior yesterday just in case people remember how good he is down the straight, now the only problem is whether or not he's actually running in the race LOL
