• Respond to vague arguments with specific isolated examples.
• Narrate in a manner that is designed to ingratiate the narrator with the viewer; making the viewer feel smart for agreeing with the narrator and making condescending comments about anyone who doesn't agree with "us".
• make tenuous links between isolated world events that have no relationship to one another.
• Present "gotcha" moments where the subject of an interview isn't smart enough to argue their case properly, as though this vindicates the other side.

I'm not someone who cries "racist" at anyone who has pro-nationalist beliefs. I believe that there is a meaningful debate that can happen around this issue, but the video that you have posted is nothing but dog whistling.

The "they" who say Sydney will grow another 2 million are analysts who study long term population trends. Part of this is based on government policies to encourage skilled immigrants to come to Australia. If there are no immmigrants, Australia's population would fall.
