Im a big fan of Su’a as well. Won’t break the bank and will do the job well. Also mole is reporting that we’re looking at bringing Gosiewski back to Redfern. I like this move. Was kind of silly to let him go in the first place but his record with injuries was terrible.
He's not playing well in the back row at the moment Gosiewski!

Barely running the ball and missing lots of tackles!

Hopefully a move back home an he improves! Mind you that Moanly culture is toxic!

We can't have a back rower running only 40 odd metres!

I see him as an interchange player and a guy just outside our best 17.

I understood the decision.

He'd managed 6 games in three years in our top squad.

Would love to have him back though

He would be on more than the minimum wage since after the GF.

About 250 I'd say.

We need to keep him!

You need experience too not just youngsters and we are losing Sutto!

Club will make the right call. As it stands I wouldn’t be giving 250k to an 18th man based on loyalty. This whole scenario reminds me a lot of the Goodwin situation as well. Fans were outraged we weren’t resigning him. People like the mole were saying how we made a mistake. Following year we have Jennings and Kennar tearing it up on the wings on minimum wage.

Really? Did you see that he was just picked in the emerging blues squad? He’s a very hard tackler and the main reason he isn’t running as much is probably because Manly are constantly having to defend their own line because of how poor they are. Gosiewski is a talent playing in a terrible pack.

Wasn't that team picked before the start of the season? I agree with R20 on this one. He looks lost in defence and his work rate is awful. Maybe it is just the Eagles culture at the moment.

How do we know Jennings is on minimum wage? Richie may be on about 200 as well!!

He's missed like 3-4 tackles in most of his matches I think! Struggled on that right edge from Manly. Not sliding like Angus doesn't!

If he comes back and can't make reasonable metres like say the 100m Sutto makes then Seibs won't tolerate that. Sutto and Angus sometimes come in a bit from the edge to take carries! Gosie needs to put his hand up if he comes back here and not just do what Turner does on an edge! Heck even Turner only made 54 metres at Norths the other day and that's what will keep him there. Gosie does that he will also be at Norths.

Thanks mate as I've watched their games lately!

He's not a back rower imo. If we think he's gonna solve our problems there he isn't! He's more of a prop to me! Which we have plenty of those!

He will have to pick his socks up if he wants a spot in our best 17 in a back row role!

As I said Seibs won't tolerate say 7 for 59m and 31 tackles with 4 missed. That won't cut it! That's pretty much what McQueen would still offer these days (don't want him back but just a comparison as to if McQueen was in first grade)

Jayden Su'a is a defensive liability too!

Missed 6 tackles the other week! In fact he misses more tackles than Damien Cook who has been roasted for that in here previously!

I feel Su'a is more an interchange player!

So far I'm not liking our options to replace Angus and Sutto and it's a concern as those 2 are very hard to replace. If we don't get our recruitment right we will be found out big time in those positions and we could go backwards instead of forwards!

A back row of say Gosie and Su'a would be one of the weakest in the comp!

We don't know if Fui will stay or how he kicks on either!

I prefer Sam in the middle but he may very well have to be out right edge back rower! Who knows who'll play on the left!

As my mate said the other day it's hard to find quality back rowers! They don't come easily!

I'd still like us to have a look at Ethan Lowe. Runs hard with big metres and tackles well plus back up goal kicker and he's coming off contract!

I'm surpised I'm the only one who's mentioned him thus far. He is worth around the 600-650 mark!

Also to the person who said we have Turner anyway in regards to Clark going, I'd rather Turner go than Clark. Clark offers more.

Yeah, but I don’t see why he would be such a terrible signing. R20 was actually spewing last year when we let him go. Was saying that the club made a massive mistake. I think players can look much worse when they’re playing in a beaten pack but his missed tackle count is definitely a concern. He always hits hard in defence and maybe that’s because he rushes in. I’m sure if he was groomed by a good coach he could become a good bench player. He’s only young.

Because we signed them as reserve graders with potential. They might be on 200k but there’s no way they’re on anything above 300. I’m highly doubtful Kennar would be on anything much above minimum wage either. He was stuck in bulldogs reserve grade.

There’s no excuses for his performances at Manly but I think he can be better than what he’s shown. If you read the report there’s also several clubs chasing him.

In that same article that you pulled up with Doueihi, Fox sports was mentioning that Ethan Lowe has an option to extend for 2019 at the cowboys. I wonder if we could persuade him to drop that and come to Souths. I always thought he was a very underrated player.

This is why @Rabbits20. Ethan Lowe is technically still under contract but if he gets a better opportunity then he can leave.

Jennings and Kennar wouldn't be on much but theIr value will increase by seasons end just judging on their performances thus far.

Gosie is worth another look imo.

If it's for a bench role I'm fine with that!

Not a starting role though!

A backrow of

Sam
Ethan Lowe
Murray

That's what I want!

Sutton averages about 80m per game playing 80 minutes, but you cuss out someone for making 40m per game over 30/40 minutes?

Now you're saying you want Sam on an edge when in pre-season you were calling Seibold a moron for suggesting that he'd be used on an edge.

Do you think before you post these things? At all?

Also, you have no idea what Seibold would or wouldn't tolerate.

Please stop using that shit to try to add credibility to your argument. It screams insecurity on your part.

Will be 21 when he joins next season if we sign him and is currently tackling at 91% this season so if he missed 6 one week, then his others must've been near perfect having made 80 odd tackles so far.

Of our forwards after 6 rounds, Chrichton is at 86%, Sam 89%, Murray 91%, Clark at 91%, Nicholls 88%, Sutton 95%(!), Tatola 94%, Tom 90%, George 87% and Cook 90%.
Only Sutton and Tatola have been better than Su'a in defence. Su'a also has time on his side. 20 is still young for any forward, especially one who is in the 17 every week. Crichton was 21 last season when he broke out, many don't until 23 so without breaking the bank, i believe he'd be a very good signing should the rumour eventuate.
