Bulldogs are doing us a favour atm.

If this keeps up and the Knights somehow beat the dragons next week, we go ahead of them.

I just want a home semi dammit.

So going into the last round we are 8th but only 3 points behind the broncos.

If we win and two of Dragons, Panthers and Broncos lose, we get a home semi.

We could still go ahead of the broncos if both teams win, but we need to beat the Raiders by 4 more points than the Broncos beat the Sea Eagles.

Our round one opponent will be one of those three teams.

would prefer they play dragons. they've been looking poo for the last 8 or so games (even with a few wins in there), then penrith (because of so many injuries), then broncoes.
tho to be fair none of them have me 'shaking in my boots', which reiterates that i reckon a top 8 is too many! go back to top5 or have a top6. or... have 20 teams and then a top 8 makes sense :p

There are a few scenarios potentially.

1: Lose badly stay 8th.
2: Lose, but Broncos lose by 4 more points go 7th
3: Lose but Broncos lose by 4 more points and Dragons lose by 17 more go 6th
4: Lose but Broncos lose by 4 points more and Dragons lose by 17 more and Panthers lose by 30 points more we go 5th.
Don't see Sharks losing by 63 so will finish there.

5: Win by less than 4 points of Broncos,Panthers and Dragons win Stay 8th
6. Win by more than 4 points than Broncos who win, as well as Panthers and Dragons go 7th.
7. Win by 17 more points than a winning Broncos, Panther sand Dragons go 6th.
8. Win by 30 more points than a winnings Broncos, Panthers and Dragons go 5th.

Then there are the winning and losing combos with the 3 other teams.

Also if Dog pull off a win over Sharks, the points diff between our win and there loss is 64
eg we win by 34 and they lose by 30 we go into 4th.
This is "tell em they're dreaming" scenario.

We are the first cab off the rank 6pm Friday, so all we can do is win and win well.
Then watch the rest of the weekend.

I like that we're up first. They just need to go out and put on something special in front of what will no doubt be a packed house for Simon's send-off.

Haha typical, Penrith beating Storm by 12 with 5 minutes to go...
We'll need a minor miracle for both Dragons and Broncos to lose for us to get that home final...
