I am thinking Latu. He had a poor year. The Titans are stacked for middle forwards.
I don't believe he was too keen to go up to Qld in the first place. There was rumours of him wanting to come back to a Sydney club a month ago.
Carty could come home or more likely he could link up with his Uncle at Manly.

makes sense, and we are a bit thin on forwards.

This is great news, and reading between the lines is also good news for Ciraldo, as I assume him continuing on as coach would have helped.
Chammas is only basing his write-up to what Gould said on Channel Nines 100% Footy on Monday night. A piggy back piece of journalism.

With the squad we have,I bet Mick Jennings is secretly chomping at the bit to get back to the Panthers.

Would struggle to get a run in first grade with us.

His brothers on the other hand...... would have made much better cover for the wing positions.

Gus was instrumental in reviving the footballing fortunes of Leilani Latu when he first came to the club, no reason to think he couldn't do it again if Leilani's heart is in it. Latu could be anything if he put his mind to it but to date other than a decent spell when he first got promoted to our NRL squad he appears not to be able to sustain the hard work that is required to success at NRL level.

Latu's fitness was his issue but he was creative. Even 20mins off the bench would be good

Wasn’t he considered in the emerging blues squad?

He was great for us in 2014. No reason he can’t be a solid signing.

I would love to see latu back, Cartwright on a small contract would be fine.
Mitch rein is the other player the rumour could refer to.... not everybody’s favourite but he was decent.
