Lodge has been accused of domestic violence before and it sure as f**k fits with the type of man he clearly is
Yep. But ofcourse domestic violence and terrorising people are fine:

An ex-girlfriend of NRL player Matthew Lodge says she "lived the cycle of domestic abuse" during a two-year relationship with him.

Charlene Saliba, a 26-year-old Sydney primary school teacher, has told News Corp Australia the abuse began with controlling behaviour and escalated.

"It started with controlling behaviour, then name-calling, then came the emotional abuse, he started throwing things, physically restraining me, (he) spat in my face, then pushing and shoving me, which then lead to threats on my life," Ms Saliba said on Sunday.

“I’ve lived the cycle of domestic abuse. I came out the other side.

“I am one of the lucky ones.

“I have moved on with the help of my amazing partner and am only speaking because of repeated media requests and to correct what has been said about me.”

Lodge was charged with eight counts of domestic violence against Charlene Saliba in August 2015 - of which he pleaded guilty to one and eventually had no conviction recorded with a good behaviour bond on appeal the following year.

Lodge's guilty plea to common assault came after a neighbour allegedly saw him attack Ms Saliba, slapping her in the face and pushing her to the ground according to court documents obtained by News Corp.

Young players can grow up knowing that they can do whatever the f**k they want and if they're good enough it doesn't matter. Some club will give them a 3rd and 4th chance.

I cant believe anyone would want our club to do the same.

Wake up to yourself... I’m not saying that any of what they did is fine.

I’m saying that people deserve a chance to reform and turn themselves into decent human beings.

Human beings are capable of making mistakes, learning a lesson and bettering themselves....

What’s next? All drink drivers are to be kicked out of the League as well?

This.

We need to keep him. Like Blore he looks a class above and is one of the guys we need to keep.

Hopefully we can. But god only knows what Warriors are willing to throw at him. Might be one we need to cop.

It surprises me when the Warrioirs are looking at other teams juniors. They have quite a large pool of their own to choose from.

Why do you think he wont be a regular first grader?

He looks a very promising talent.

Where do we play him?
If Whare goes from Centre it will be due to a bigger faster guy coming through
Maloney/Cleary are the halves. Luai/May next in line.
Hooker maybe but hasn't played there for a while.

I think it will be SG Ball guys from this year that a few years down the track will push guys out.
Rather lose Aekins, Keighran and co then the guys behind them

Marty Kapow has Panthers written all over him. Well spoken and behaved, a mongrel on the field and a Kiwi Bro'. Get in his ear Captain WZ.
he has the mongrel we lack .He gets penalized a lot but still less than our current crop. Sadly given our current cap situation he is out of our price range
