I'd have to go back and watch it again for the specifics but he certainly didn't say we were after him to sign.

The intial presser. Gus said he aleady had 12 coaches expressed interest. Included some contracted elsewhere.

Difference between us and the Broncos is we fired Griffin, Broncos are letting Bennett's contract quietly run out and not re-sign. Less qustions.

The ink isnt even dry on Dezzies contract and he's already wanting to do the same things that destroyed the Bulldogs side.

I agree. I think that Cleary when imforming W/T (Pascoe) was upfront and above abord. I think Pascoe hit the panic button.

Ehh, we have a good forward pack but it's nothing compared to how much better 2014 Souths were compared to the rest of the comp considering the form the Burges brothers. Maguire has had his successful off the back of forwards that were absolutely head and shoulders above the competition. I think he'll have some difficulty at the Tigers given the quality of their forwards and how much Maguire likes to play a forward oriented football similar to Hasler. There's no one like like Burges bros or JWH/Tapau at the Tigers.

I think he could win the premiership at the Dragons because they have the forwards to play to his style. Here, with Mkendary injured, Merrrin out of form, RCG inconsistent? I doubt it.

Maguire sure didnt look too good in his final seasons at Souths nor did he have a happy roster.

Tigers dont have the roster for immediate success. Can he stop them from turning to shit like Souths did? They could get even worse to be honest.

Compare his pack at Souths to the one at Tigers. Throw in the spine... Tigers will be lucky to match this years results with that roster.
