Realistically i see him on the ashes tour as a backup keeper/batsman.

When it comes to the test 11 he's playing for spot 5 or 6 and I'd say Head, Burns and Patterson or all ahead of him for those spots at this point.

Selectors probably have Stoinis ahead of him as well.
