Plenty doesn't get out. He just seemed either busted or uninterested all year. Who knows what came up in mid year reviews... That said we need to get someone of note if we do

It's all part of Ivan's mantra. He wants players that have skill but equally a good attitude.

Depends on the serious interest but there could be a couple of players out before June 30 and 1 or 2 in.

A good attitude is most of the problem. I like Blake but if the attitude dropped and given we don't use our centres then I can live with it.. Provided if like with Dallin we strengthen the squad elsewhere not just pay overs for some kid

He really had it all to play for this year as well, in terms of Origin and rep footy, given the troubles with Roberts was having even from the preseason.

Yeah no idea what happened. Hopefully like with Mansour this motivates him to improve not take off like DWZ

Dummy half in demand

The Broncos have a huge fight on their hands retaining boom rookie Jake Turpin.

The 22-year-old hooker-halfback was the one shining light in the loss to the Titans last weekend, starting at hooker and then starring at half following the injury to Tom Dearden.

It's no secret at Red Hill that coach Anthony Seibold isn't a fan of veteran hooker Andrew McCullough, with Turpin providing the team with far more zip out of dummyhalf.

But Turpin is off contact and has the Warriors, Panthers, Tigers and Eels all interested in his services.

The Warriors are clearly having troubles with Issac Luke and are throwing the biggest money at the young number nine - money the Broncos will find hard to match.

I doubt we are. The club seems set with Kenny(favourite) and Egan(backup).

Agree with you there.

That's also why I hope they don't release RCG just yet. Like Mansour, he was dropped and went an played hard in reserves, and has bounced back a lot stronger for it. If Clearly's wanting to keep players with the right attitude, so far he is showing it since being dropped. Hopefully it continues.

With Jarome Luai not getting FG starts unless Maloney or Cleary are unavailable why would we want another half. Just the Lurker though...

(edit) just noticed we are talking about DUMMY half. Guess I'm the dummy! :)

Yeah he’s hooker I’ve been quite impressed with him tbh, I like Kenny a lot and Egan seems to be improving now but I think Turpin looks much more talented than those two. Wouldn’t get into a bidding war though

Nope not worth a bidding war but Kenny at lock. JFH prop works and more ball players the better
