Leota is 5th which is even more remarkable. The gap behind 3rd is pretty big. Both have played every game (RCG missed one) and will have to drop points if they continue to, as per the rules. Neither are in the running to come first unless some unspeakable injury disaster happens.

He’s not going to escape criticism as long as he’s not producing enough to justify his contract. If you take the big bucks on a long term deal, you’ve got to produce.

Tamou was is a very similar position a few years back and now is our best. Fingers crossed RCG can make it too.

Your irrational hate is the only sad thing here. Cant even admit that at one point his form was incredible as was his rise to playing for Australia and NSW. His form now isnt at that level. But he's playing solid footy at the moment.

He is same quality as he always was, just less quantity, but people have started opening their eyes and looking the part isn't enough. It didn't matter when we were hopeless and there wasn't anyone better, but things have changed, and the reality is he's our worst (playing first grade) prop on a bad contract for the club and in the way of promising young talent.

And one thing we've shown we are very good at is pissing off players on contracts we don't like. So hopefully he gets the Jennings/Lewis/Blake/DWZ treatment and can just be forgotten.

Absolute load of shit. He ran the ball harder and tackled harder prior to his injury. He loved heavy contact and has shied away from it since breaking his jaw.

He's not delivering value for money at the moment and probably never will. But hes nowhere near as bad as you try to make him seem. Right now hes a 6 or 7 out of 10 player on his good games. At his peak he was an 8 or 9 on average and rep selectors recognised that. Sadly it was short lived.

But he had some very 2017 like runs against the Raiders. The only forward to make more metres than him was JFH... he made 32 more metres in 32 extra minutes.

Interesting re Reg. I'd like him to stay, but if his pay packet is crazy crazy. It might not be the best value for money.

Cap relief v potential. We just aren't seeing much from him at the moment. No impact off the bench, Leota outplaying him. Probably needs a sea change ala DWZ.

I loved his style of play when he was good but he seems a shadow of himself and a victim of our cap.
