I don’t read to much into what the media report and your right in so much most of what was written is just old news. It’s not just us the Titans, Cowboys, Dragons and more recently the Knights have come under close scrutiny for there poor showings this season. It comes with the territory I guess perform as poorly as we have and you have to expect the criticism and poor press that comes with.

Whats doin with Frank Winterstien?
Mate every game we've won has had him playing the starting back row for 25mins, now where losing, and he aint getting picked, its not like he misses tackles, he's our fastest "play the ball"
I dare say probably our best or more consistent starting 2nd rower, only defensively tho, attack is ok too, but not the crazy line breaker kikau is, again not sure why Ivan has dropped him? Or is it that interstate wife thing on him, not really world breaking news, i get chastised most days i go to the pub by the missus

Yeh not too sure tbh. I agree, been good for us & been underused imo. I think he's easily in our top 17 but maybe they see these last couple of games as a good chance to get Burns ready for next year.

Saw a recent tweet from one of the sports journo’s saying Sele, Winterstein, Fuimaono and Lui-Toso have all been told there services are no longer required for next year.

Im pretty sure winterstein was brought in as a back up just for this season although hed gone ok he is about 31 yrs old hes no youngster the guys been around.Hame sele has been disappointing but hasn't had much of a go to prove anyone wrong.Fuimaono is in his 2nd stint with us hes too slow to be a centre and too small for a back rower didnt fill the utility role either so looks like hes gone.Lui toso is an interesting one been here about 3yrs now solid player when not injured his stint in the 2nd half of our canterbury cup game was the reason we scored 3 back to back tries never given a go and now hes unwanted ?.

Yeah i don't see it that way, prime example roosters have Mitch Auburson,
He is by no means young, or a superstar to set the world on fire, but a workhorse and constant, that and he is super versatile, now while frank isn't as versatile, he is a consistent starter, the games he startes we don't leak points, nor does he miss tackles, or drop balls, i cannot say the same about kikau, JFH, Yeo or Martin, all great players and individually brilliant, but definitely not consistent, Kenny is the closest, barr JFH all the rest probably should come off the bench, and revert to having Tamou and RCG starting, maybe JFH as a 2nd rower, Kenny at lock, and Egan hooker, until the rotations kicks in
Then we'll see the impact Kikau, Martin and Yeo have off the Bench

Not sure I agree with that. Runs better lines then anyone at the club imo. Gets us on the front foot with quick play the balls, if he was a junior I think many people would have a higher opinion of him.

He went from being the player people were most excited about seeing based on his pre-season, the coaching staff talking him up, starting at lock in NRL etc. etc. to missing a training session & never being seen again. There was 2 or 3 scapegoats for our poor start, he was one of them.

He was playing FG after the midway point of the season hardly being made a scapegoat for the start of our season.

Its ridiculous that some people think Cleary blackballed him and yet keeps naming him on the extended bench.
