PF - Roosters will beat us and then go on to beat Melbourne in the GF.

Obviously it's a relief to do so well after the spoon last year but I don't think last year's result is all that relevant. We severely underachieved in 2018. This year is a clear pass though, beating just about all the other average spenders. In fact, I reckon that if we were in a class of 32 students, we would have been the tenth best.

I'm with this, last year was an abomination, and not a great yardstick by which to measure. So winning a single finals game would be some kind of measure of an improvement on 2017, so that for me would make for a successful season in as much as it is an improvement on a good year rather than a shit one.

Even though I think we could hold our heads high after our performance against the Storm in 2017, our follow up against the Cowboys was poor.

We are not yet a premiership team, not on paper and past performance at least anyways, but a finals win or two this year, and a couple of good recruits for next year could well see a window open for us. We seem to finally be getting our roster management in order, and some finals experience combined with another off season where our young spine and our outside backs will train in the positions they will play will be awesome for us going into next year.

All that aside, as unlikely as it seems, I aint gonna discount the possibility that we could maybe catch a coupla breaks through the finals and find ourselves lining up on grand final day, and from there anything could happen.

The only other possible outcome is a Sharks Tigers draw, which would see the Sharks into seventh over the Tigers in eighth on PD, and the Donkeys dropping out of the eight. In which case we play the Tigers.

The only other possible outcome is a Sharks Tigers draw, which would see the Sharks into seventh over the Tigers in eighth on PD, and the Donkeys dropping out of the eight. In which case we play the Tigers.

But other than that one small fact, an excellent prediction
