Yea I think Hethrington is the type of prop we're really missing, sure he has attitude issues but that's something that can be coached out of him (hopefully), think he is a better option then going out there and trying to get another prop on big money.

Think center should be the priority, either that or go for someone like Brimson for fullback (he is off contract at the end of 2020)

We could spend ~$1m on JWH (with his attitude problem) who is near the twilight of his career or we could persevere with Hetherington, who is in the early stages of his career (and has a much lower price tag). Which way will the three stooges (Cleary snr, O'Neill and Fletcher) go? Likely to go JWH is my guess.

He's been nothing but a total liability. If he can play a full year in NSW cup without getting binned or sent off then maybe he can play first grade in 2021

JWH isn’t getting 1 million from anyone.

Remember though he hasn’t played footy for almost 18 months by the time next year rolls around, I don’t see him playing FG anytime soon unless there’s an injury crisis.

He and a few others need a good solid stint of footy. The young guys need more consist footy. It is why I'd target guys like Prior and Morris etc. Allows time for the young guys to keep developing

Morris would be a pretty decent signing, think prior is way to past it now and has to many penalties in his game which is the opposite of what we need

They were just 2 names that are available. We need a forward for the 1st 20-25mins to keep it tight which allows the younger guys to come on and do their thing. Atm guys like Martin even Kikau go well for 10-15 mins then have an error or 2 and undo all that good work

I get what you're saying but I think we'll be sweet with our forwards going onto next year anyway, a full pre-season will help the young guys a lot and I think Tamou, Yeo and JFH can lead the pack just fine.

If a good powerful forwards comes onto the market that would be great. I don't know the ESL forwards but someone with ballplaying skills wouldn't go amiss either.

I do think we could start the year with what we have, to bring someone in mid year (in my opinion) would be ideal.

Yeo and JFH both have major injuries. No guarantee either is fine to go round 1 then the pack is very light on

Not sure we’ll even keep Kikau tbh. Another issue with putting the broom through the squad.

I got no issues landing a Latimore quality prop, but there is absolutely zero need to have $1.7m - $2m tied up in a front row rotation.

I’ve heard Hetherington is now staying, still think he’s going to be some player. Some people are just way too early to write off a rookie based off a couple of brain dead decisions.
Agree with what you have said about Kikau, he didn't look very interested towards the end of the year, it was like he felt he was being held responsible to make things happen. A man can only do so much.

The main issue with Hetherington Imo, is that he’s trying too hard to live up to tag or being the enforcer & aggressor tag. Hopefully with age comes maturity.

In regards to Prior, I honestly don’t see anything he can do that someone like Ellis can’t.

No matter the grade we do dumb things. I can't see it changing soon. Ellis has been error riddled in FG
