Yeah but i can see him filling in random positions, like Yeo does when we have injuries, but you're right about the money aspect, just have a feeling, it would be his way to sticking it to the tigers by playing for us.

He offers plenty. Can ball play. Had more tackles and run metres then any of our forwards.. I just don't see how we get the deal done

You can't back end contracts anymore. The NRL put a stop to it.

I wouldn't mind Matterson at the "right price" (and definitely not on some backended monstrosity) but I don't see the "right price" being an option for him. The "right price" is whatever the Tigers are paying him which he's apparently unhappy with.

Does anyone know who the wine maker on Triple M is? He is also claiming the Eels are set to offer an $11m 10 year deal to Latrell Mitchel!

Its hard to imagine any club offering that length and size of deal to him, but especially one that has been through recent salary cap issues.

He got better as the year went on imo, and with a full preseason, he could be near his best for next season.
