With Cam seemingly out for a while the question is who plays 9.

In order of best to worst option:

Ben Hunt
Lovodua
Luke
Hayden Lomax

if Hunt plays 9,

Norman to play 7
Sailor 6

when Cam comes back he becomes our JDB clone.

I would like to see Lovodua trialled at 9. He has ball playing ability, and is a reasonably solid defender. If it doesn’t work, Joe’s contract won’t be renewed.

I am not keen on Luke because he seems past it. Knowing the great white dope Mary, Luke will be immediately given the 9 jersey.

I don’t know whether Hayden Lomax is up to it so I won’t comment on his prospects.

I think this is the most likely outcome.

May be a blessing in disguise, as we will finally see how Lovodua will go at the top level. When McInnes returns it might mean that Joe stays and Luke goes to CC.

Turns out that losing Luch, Robson & probably Timm - all because of Mc I-Hate-Fuc*ing-Juniors has come back to bite us?

Wonder why real coaches like Robinson, Bennett & Bellamy don’t give a rats about 9’s?

Lovodua off the bench makes more sense but not really sure where he is at with his development etc

It will be Luke and it probably should be him as well. He's trained with Cam closely all off season and would be the least disruptive option.

More pressing is the captaincy void we are left with, but hopefully Friz (and even Luke) step up and act as leaders on the field

We can lose out Top 13 to injury..no problem he is the gifted coach.
Remember we never look back we just focus on what it is in front of us. "Our past is not our future"

But honestly does anyone think as McInnes was not supposed to be ready till Round 1...did he come back to early for what?...after his broken leg.

Do you think he was rushed back? That injury was 20 weeks ago, I presumed that he had gone through the proper rehab and was cleared by the docs to play.
