Seriously. We deserved to lose tonight. But Cecchin gave us no chance. If these bastards are not going to give us a fair shake, why are we forcing our boys to be away from their family.

Come home boys. F**k their comp

Have seen a lot of blowing up on social media, I’ll admit that I wasn’t watching the game super closely, but Cecchin is just a crap ref and I’ve seen a lot worse in the past, I’ll probably get flamed like I have from my mates, but it didn’t all go one way

For example if it was complete bias against the Warriors, near the end of the first half how did they get the non call when Green stripped the ball from Murray, a set repeat, another set repeat on the last tackle, and then a Souths player sent to the bin

Green stripped the ball. We got that one. That's it. That's what went our way. Nothing else.

I would argue that we deserved A LOT more set repeats and that the Souths player deserved to go to the bin.

Watch the game mate.

I want to know what Cameron George is doing about the shit officiating tonight.
He’s been very quiet since the stage 4 lockdowns started.

Pretty sure it was already 18-6 at this stage and a sin bin where you split the 10 mins with 1/2 time makes it much easier when defending. Sure Cechin gave shit calls both ways but as soon as we went up 6-0 early doors he started f**king us up down and sideways.

Actually kinda reminds me of a funny story. I was at the docs last week getting my prostate exam, i asked where i should put my pants. “Over there beside mine” wasn’t the answer i was expecting.

No way was it a wash. It is polite to concede that we got a few calls- but there is no way Checcin’s effect was neutral

I really struggle to blame refs when we play the way we do.

The game is all about momentum and refs can definitely swing that with bad calls, but when you bomb tries, concede marshmallow soft ones at the other end, and generally drop your bundle with a "woe is me" attitude when things go against you, it's hard to blame anyone else.

He is just a bad referee. And we give him plenty of opportunities.
If you watch Kodi, half his passes are 50/50 calls forwards.

And the comp would be fine without us. All that sentiment about us 'saving the NRL season' with all league fans grateful for our (very real) sacrifice is pretty hollow. It's marketing really.

There's 15 other teams, with about 12 of them better than us.

As it is, with the good vibes focused on us, we still need to be performing on the field. The good guys of the NRL played well last night but still got walloped on the scoreboard. I'm sick of it.

The Fusitua one was rubbish, but nah I don't think we should go down this route. We were never going to win that game with 16, then 15 men and with the lack of quality we have across the park. Yes, Cecchin is a f**king hopeless referee - but we don't have to be the type of fan to make it seem anything like that's the reason we got pantsed.

Pretty pissed through the game, double standards is what normally gets me most upset.
Fus high shot by Mitchell when trying to score was the worst.
All the talk about protecting players heads, it was replayed 3-4 times no bunker involvement.
Yes an accident, but completely ignored and clear penalty.

Hey, at least it happened in a game we weren't going to win anyway *shrug*

TBH I've been expecting the spoon this year since halfway through 2019. Nothing really gets me that much these days. Even just 3-4 years back I would've been fired up about that...

Wait. I've just found something that will get me angry.

Latrell Mitchell wasn't even f**king charged. f**k that. Was thinking I'd head up the CC (since it's nearby) for the Broncos game (and probably more after)... nah, I don't think so. f**k off NRL. That was worth a reckless charge, and not a grade 1 either. Absolutely pathetic.

If the players come home or pull out from the season. I'm not so sure as a club, we'd be welcomed back with open arms.

I can understand the frustration, especially at the timing of this but now the future of the whole club could be severely impacted by what transpires over the next month

Ooh, and did anyone tell Iron Lion that the season is still going ahead?

f**k that. They are professionals. Coaches get sacked. Kearney is a coach. Yes it's great if he forms bonds with players, but his main role is to get us winning football matches. And we aren't. We're average as hell.

Harris is no doubt emotional, a bit tired, missing family, all those things. I get it. That has fuelled those quotes. But no player has the right to quit on us as fans because the coach goes. You are still accountable to us, the people who turn up every week when we can, have been turning up all these years, spending our hard earned, riding the highs and lows etc. So no, you'll have to turn up next week, every week.

We're going to get pumped this week. Melbourne on the bounce back from a loss, these sort of quotes coming out.

The only thing that we have going for us is the relocation drama.

Won't be enough- especially with our own dramas

When I posted this, I was feeling pretty over it- sick of what I feel like is a consistent raw deal from the refs. I was pretty much keen for us to just harpoon the comp.

I've calmed down a bit now. I still think the refs are giving us a raw deal, but I get that you can play well enough to overcome and even reverse that and we don't.

That's exactly it mate. Fully justified to be pissed at the refs for their shite, but its barely ever the main reason we lose.
