Round 7 vs Souths

Any club could say that same thing though.

Not a star but a good solid squad player.

You’d agree that the whole sex tape scandal had a negative affect on our season last year?

I don’t want to see that happen again. Tyrone May isn’t worth that price.

We’d gain more by sacking him/not re-signing him, than we’d lose by him going to another club.

I don't know people seem to be keen on punting Burton for May based on social media.

I think that’s mostly the belief May would be a better utility option, not necessarily a better player.

Personally I think they’re wrong anyway. With Burton on the bench we have just as many positions covered as we would with May.

My feeling is that Burton is a better half/five-eighth, but May is better most everywhere else but can cover those positions anyway. You are just guessing if you suggest Burton can play first grade in multiple positions at this stage, without further development.

It's now been made clear that May is part of the club's plans by naming him this week and arranging to re-sign him.

I’d be pretty confident in betting that if everyone that did what May did or similar & got caught we would struggle to field an 8 team comp. he has done his time, time to let it go

He should have spent time behind bars, and given a life time ban from the game.
That's your opinion and it doesn't reflect the law and the community's values. In my view, that is a compete over reaction. What he did wasn't nice. He filmed himself having consensual sex and the partner didn't agree to being filmed. He didn't rape, physically assault or kill somebody. He also didn't distribute the film.

He was 20 years old, a kid with very little experience of life and he made a very stupid mistake. He has been punished, humiliated and exposed to the community at large. Enough already.

Hard to say. He was still on the books when we came good at round 10. I think we were under done. His issues doesn’t make the side look unfit.

No but often a weaker player stuffs up and is got rid of whereas star players stay. So I like sticking by a lesser player

Kid? At the age of 18, one can drink, drive, voted and enlist for the military. He is an adult. That quote, was in reference to Matt Lodge.

It’s an educated guess, yes.

Do you really think May would be better on the wing or at fullback than Burton? Burton is tall, quick & has good hands. Ideal for wing or fullback.

We also know he’s been training in the centres and at fullback.

I’m stunned anyone would pigeonhole him as a specialist half. (Although I think he can easily play half)

While I’ve got no doubt many more players have done similar, the fact is May was convicted. That should be the point of judgement.

Plus it’s not just the conviction, he then got another suspension before his other suspension was even finished.

He’s had his second chance.

He was 22, not 20.

I wasn’t suggesting it was the only reason, but it had to be a factor.

But not dummy half and that is hugely important - and before you say it - yes I know Luai and even Cleary can slot there in a pitch but you are change 2 positions at the same time rather than one with May coming on for Api.

I agree. The club has chosen to support him and it’s time to accept the decision. Whether he gets back into the top 17 anytime soon, personally I can’t see it unless there are injuries even if he is training the house down.

Looking at the selected sides I hope the Bunnies play James Roberts off the bench as I can’t see too much value using him there and it could work in our favour.

The Fox Sports late mail suggests former Panther Hame Sele may come into the Bunnies 17 off the bench. I hope that it not the case as former players seem to reserve there best when playing against us.

Every game is a big game, I hope we play to our best and do well enough to secure what would be another crucial two points.

The 2nd suspension was bullshit. He backed up his best mate. Hardly a hanging offence
