I think it is player motivation.Canberra are just getting there excuses ready!

I doubt Harry has a chance anyway. Wests aren't winning too many games from here on with the side they've got. But your theory has merit. The same happened with Kalyn Ponga in his first season at the Knights, playing in a team that missed the finals by miles and injured for a lengthy period. The DT can't having him beating their favourite new boy Harry Grant. All of a sudden, before we play Canberra, they dock him those points instead of informing him on the day of his return from his time off.

Being docked points for a suspension isn't a new thing. I'm disappointed for Nathan for sure, but this isn't some black ops driven agenda by anyone. It's the rules. Nath still has the chance to bag plenty of points. The DT can't having him beating their favourite new boy Harry Grant. OK thanks.Being docked points for a suspension isn't a new thing. I'm disappointed for Nathan for sure, but this isn't some black ops driven agenda by anyone. It's the rules. Nath still has the chance to bag plenty of points.
This would be the first one that wasn't on-field related, I believe.Being docked points for a suspension isn't a new thing. I'm disappointed for Nathan for sure, but this isn't some black ops driven agenda by anyone. It's the rules. Nath still has the chance to bag plenty of points.
Probably. It's not too often someone cops a suspension for an off field incident & doesnt play like a busted arse that year if at all. This would be the first one that wasn't on-field related, I believe.
That is not how I pictured you.
I take it you've just come out of a 6 month coma?Penrith doesn't deserve home games with the shit crowds they've been dishing out. For shame.
Move the game to the Sunshine Coast, where they know how to pack a hill out.
As a matter of fact, I have... only to find the top of the ladder team drawing a smattering of bystanders to witness a weekly masterclass against the odds. Yet their fans want to spend MY hard-earned tax dollars building a perennially empty all-seater with ash trays built into the seats? Pish.I take it you've just come out of a 6 month coma?
News Limited is still having a love-in with him and Sydney-centric clubs, especially Penrith, have no problem with the status quo - that being a stack of intra-city games and club grants that make up for a woeful lack of attendance. It's astounding that V'landys isn't copping more heat over this.
The first time I could take it as a joke, although not a very good one. But now you repeat it for a third time. The non-wannabe regional teams are what's keeping the sport alive during this completely unexplained drop in attendances.
The only possible explanation.I take it you've just come out of a 6 month coma?
I'm really at a loss here. How does a player get suspended AND get docked points...has this always been in the Dally Messenger Award rules? Do does this mean he is getting penalised twice for the one offence?Being docked points for a suspension isn't a new thing. I'm disappointed for Nathan for sure, but this isn't some black ops driven agenda by anyone. It's the rules. Nath still has the chance to bag plenty of points.
I wanted to spark some banter between two apatheic fanbases, and also felt it warranted after (now once repeated) attacks on my state of consciousness in 2020.The first time I could take it as a joke, although not a very good one. But now you repeat it for a third time.
The only possible explanation.
Misleading. The only fair assessment is to calculate the cumulative commute to home games in 2020. Warriors have had it pretty easy after all.Assuming that the remainder of the season is played at normal home venue/s with the exception of Melbourne and NZ, the following is the amount of home games each team will play at their normal ground/s
10 - Broncos, Cowboys, Eels, Wests
9 - Dragons
8 - Knights, Raiders, Sharks, Titans
7 - Manly
6 - Bulldogs, Panthers, Souths, Roosters
2 - Storm
0 - Warriors
Yes, the Raiders really are whinging about playing as many as or more true home games than 10 other teams.
