17 games in a row, minor premiership, you’d want a “please explain” why a panther player isn’t selected! I would select at least 9 panthers in the origin squad.

Who do you leave out though? Most in the squad have been good for years. We literally had one good season.

I'm not bothered just saying it isn't like previous years with a hardened QLD dynasty. Crichton could debut and be fine in a stacked rep team. Doesn't mean he has to.

That’s a good point, because of the glue factor.

You should be good next year, but on form, 17 games in a row, is historic, it’s a big big deal and it’s as a team.

It’s up there with those classic golden oldie sides, it’s just that nobody’s quite onto it yet. Probably some bias against youth as well.

But as purveyors of their craft, regardless of age, experience etc, it was a very impressive side. I’ve never seen it in my lifetime. You’d put your house on it not being able to be repeated.

Not always pretty, but there wasn’t a lot of danger either. Composed season.

Just too many good in form players. Like the top 5 from the Dally M all in the backline so it is just not his time yet
