Only if Bennett agrees and so far he hasn't indicated that.

Bennett is not keen on wingers, AJ wouldn't be still here if it were up to him, and we lost George Jennings, the leading try scorer of that season because Bennett didn't want to upgrade him.

I get it, we firstly need to finalise Latrell, Su'A, and Gags has to tell us his plans but I'm confident if Bennett gives the green light, the Fox is wearing Red&Green in 2022

2021 is Bennett's last season as coach but the Fox will want to sign a contract with someone soon, he ain't gonna wait unti the end of 2021 to lockdown a 2022 contract. Also, we don't know what Bennett is gonna do, rumour is he was offered a Phol Gould like roll with Souths from 2022 onwards, and he could do it remote from Brisbane if he wanted to. We haven't heard anymore about this offer

Dunno if this is general gossip or signings related as technically it is signing related due to the fact one of them goes off contract and the other comes in straight away....BUT my question is - has our premiership window closed with Wayne leaving in 2022 and Jd coming in after (providing we don’t win in 2021)

Personally I don't think it will.We are going to give it a red hot go this coming season but if we fall short I have faith that JD will quickly establish himself as a quality coach.

For me, the window is closing, but isn't closed until Cody and/or Adam retire. That's when it's closed for me

That's why I wanna see us go all in and make a play for the Fox and, if possible, get the Broncos to offload Pangai to us. If we get those 2, we can't lose. But it needs to happen ASAP, and since Melbourne won't release the Fox, we have to wait a year; and Reyno is off contract after 2021, and Cody after 2022, so we basically have 2 years left before the window shuts, maybe only 2022

Speaking of contracts, we need to be careful Jaydn Su'A doesn't get poached.

I'm worrying about the Broncos, they are creating cap space by offloading a few duds, like Bird, maybe Lodge, Joe O is going to the Tigers, Boyd's big $$$ are now off the books, a new coach maybe Kevvie might be interested in luring Su'A back to QLD. But they are gonna need to spend money on keeping Staggs first.

I asked the blokes at work who they would build a team around regarding which position they would start with they all said in this order 7-6-1-13-8-9-10—— then the rest...
Going on that order we will need to fill 7 & 7 pretty quickly. We have latrell who is young as well as Murray who is younger still. Then there is the prop problem. Also I’m worried about cook.. whilst he is lightning quick he will lose speed As he ages.. do we have a backup/grooming a young guy for him?? God I hope so
