Do not put this back on me. Maybe that person should go back to his forum, and create drama there. We do not need trolls.
Just laugh along Jane, TSF hasn't got a malicious bone in his body. He just has a unique sense of humour. Sometimes you need to learn to swim, or gtfo of the pool. Reacting as you have been clearly isn't working for you. Just lighten up a bit, you will enjoy life more.

Luke Bowen is on ignore, and so is ACTPanthers, I will not be responding to either of them, or those juvenile comments. It is beyond pathetic. Thanks.

She is 100% the best troll I’ve ever come across. I can only assume she’s a Roosters or Storm supporter.

The young Panther who passed on Craig Bellamy and the Storm

It takes some serious courage to pass on an approach from the reigning NRL premiers.

But that is exactly what young Penrith prop Spencer Leniu did before Christmas when he politely rejected Craig Bellamy’s overtures to commit his future to the Panthers.

While there was talk of the Bulldogs tabling upwards of $500,000 a year, as well as interest from St George Illawarra for 2022 and beyond, the real contenders for Leniu’s services were the Storm.

Leniu confirmed he had a few Zoom calls with Bellamy late last year, having impressed Melbourne assistants Ryan Hinchcliffe and Aaron Bellamy in a seven-a-side reserve-grade trial against the Storm back in June. The Storm realised he was off contract and made a point of keeping tabs on his progress over the remainder of the 2020 season.

The Auckland-born Mt Druitt-raised Leniu, however, said his heart was always set on staying with his mates at Penrith. That was made clear to Bellamy and his staff as they quickly realised their best sales pitch would still fall short.

Leniu signed a two-year extension until the end of 2023, while Penrith bumped up his current deal for this season.

The Storm had one eye on the future, especially with Nelson Asofa-Solomona the only front-rower signed beyond 2022.

“I had a few Zoom chats with Melbourne, and knowing Melbourne were chasing someone like me was very humbling,” Leniu told the Herald. “It’s every young player’s dream to be coached by Craig Bellamy.

“He didn’t need to sell me the Storm. The Storm sells itself. He liked my aggression. When we had a seven-a-side trial here against the Storm, that’s when he [started following me]. He said there was something they had liked after that trial.

“But I love Penrith and love [Panthers coach] Ivan [Cleary] and what he has done for my career so far. I wanted to stay loyal. My heart is with Penrith, and I wanted to follow my heart.”

Leniu suffered a knee injury in last year’s trials before he went on to play 12 games off the bench for the Panthers. He did not feature during the NRL finals.

Just 20 years of age with 17 NRL games under his belt, Leniu will play a lot more minutes this year, especially with the departures of fellow front-rowers James Tamou (Wests Tigers), Zane Tetevano (Leeds) and young Jack Hetherington (Bulldogs). He destroyed a few of his rivals in a reserve-grade trial against Mounties just a couple of weeks ago.

Plenty of good judges have noted Penrith are lacking one big body - they have modest money set aside for a middle forward to come on to the market in the coming months - but Leniu backed the current pack to hold their own.

“I don’t know what has been said about our forwards, I know we’ve lost some experience, but I also trust in the boys that are here and the coaches to make the right decisions when it comes to filling those massive shoes that need filling,” he said.

All the good judges and a select few on this forum must be wrong. Betcats said so. At least no one slammed him about his opinion.

I’ve come to realise i was wrong in suggesting on more than one occasion, that we are light on the front row. It was silly of me to be so pessimistic. I look forward to the start of the season proper so we can all move forward.
Sorry mate, don't want to put you back in the crosshairs.

Dont worry it’s not the first time you’ve been wrong and definitely won’t be the last

Wise words. I proved our pack is no worse off than the other top teams. Anything after that is skewed perception.
What is skewed? That some people would like another prop with experience before tapping into untried juniors while trying for the premiership this year? Everyone understands funds are limited following upgrades but it doesn't mean wanting another prop in our squad is skewed.

The idea we have a problem is skewed. More depth is always welcome. people are worried about multiple injuries to our starters and if that happens we are stuffed anyway.
