George is a good mate of mine he is as honest as the day is long a true gentleman is my mate piggo get well soon old bunny...
George is friends with a good friend of my father and he organised for me to meet him at a match. He took me into the change-room after the match and I got to meet my (at the time) favourite Souths player of all time, Les Davidson. Getting to meet George and shake his hand while telling him how grateful I was that he did everything he could to keep us alive is truly one of the great moments of my life. As you said MB he is a true gentleman.

Good story, great to hear.
Man, loved Davo, thought at the time we was the toughest, most fearsome ever.
That punch up with Steve Roach was legendary. So glad I was there to see it.
In his prime, he would have knocked the crap out of potato head Gallen

The funny thing was I saw him standing off to the side and I went straight over to shake his hand. I then asked if I could get a photo with him and called my Dad over to take it. There was a couple of young kids standing there and they had looks on their faces like "Why does this guy want a photo with one of the trainers?" Their Dad must have then told them who Bundy was because all of a sudden they were looking at Les in awe. That was one hell of a night.
