Own up Jimbo you have a poster of Robbo in your bedroom - dreaming he was coaching Rabbit to a premiership but alas it's only a dream
The only way I would have a poster of that POS would be to throw darts at it. The guy is an absolute disgrace to the game. As for being worried about Gould commentating the GF if Penriff make it, it didn't used to bother you when he was still a friend of your miserable club and giving biased commentary for the Chicken Pluckers.

Goes to show the extent of the theft of the Chook junior area by Rabbit over the years 30's to 50's who ran the NSWRL during those times like the mafia
Or perhaps they were so ashamed to be associated with a pack of cheating filth like the Rorters that they begged to be part of a noble and honest clubs territory.

I don't know if Balmain would agree - 1909 final Rabbit and Tiger shook hands and agreed not to show up for the final in protest of the final being relegated to curtain raiser to a test match.

Rabbit sneakily turn up kick off and score and win on forfeit.

I often wonder though if Rabbit had knocked on what would have happened - called it a draw perhaps

SG Ball was behind it as the Chooks had won 3 comps in a row (1935/36/37) to so call "even" up the comp as Rabbit areas were becoming industrialized and de-populated - how Rabbit was given Traditional Chook areas of Randwick/Coogee/Kingsford etc.

Jack Coote was a Chook junior living in Kingsford - His Son Ron living in the same house at Kingsford was then a Rabbit Junior.

Can we really help it if Balmain are so gullible and stupid? You would think that they would at least have sent someone to the ground to check whether we had turned up or not. Besides that was a LONG time ago. The Rorters salary cap cheating is a lot more contemporary.

Just pointing out your comment of honest and noble club isn't correct- Sneaky and Underhanded one has to say.

Never mind Uncle Nick just announced the Chook Academy expansion plans which will make it one of the biggest and best funded in the League - bringing through elite youngsters to be "Roosters for life".

3 Cheers for Uncle Nick - Hooray Hooray Hooray

Good to hear he's doing something other than crying over his old buddy Gus calling him out for being a hypocritical lowlife.

Latrell could be the NRL’s ‘best player’. But he needs ‘professional help’ to keep his head: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...s/news-story/c686d5c0a2fc1548e4bab395de5c6e94

Peter Sterling roasts claim that Victor Radley, Latrell Mitchell are liabilities to their clubs: https://wwos.nine.com.au/nrl/souths...bilities/fe7a2e88-29bd-43a4-b030-9d12f8393b69

Phil Gould lifts lid on 'highly emotional' phone call with Roosters coach Trent Robinson: https://wwos.nine.com.au/nrl/phil-g...oey-manu/5908a61f-c26a-473f-b32a-71797899b10b

Phil Gould says 'ridiculous' belief about Latrell Mitchell tackle intensified the Roosters' reaction: https://wwos.nine.com.au/nrl/phil-g...l-belief/5369bc76-42fa-41ae-b32b-61b614940ee0

Man, I am loving Gus' stance on all of this!! Speaking with so much sense and really sticking it to the Roosters. Love it!

How long is it going to take this biased, gutless NRL Integrity Commision to make a ruling on the wannabe hardman thug JWH?

He either smacked the camera out out of the camerman's hands, or he didnt. The cameraman said he did. If the thug did that he should be suspended from the finals and jailed for assault. Its simple.
Surely if he did it he can’t play this Round when you consider what Burgess got for squirting a water bottle. At least Burgess was playing in the match - JWH wasn’t even involved in the match !!

Only problem is he has Uncle Nick running cover for him. NRL - National Rorter League.

Aside from the actual allegation - which amounts to assault - what you describe here makes the charge much more serious, and the penalty should be much more harsh than George Burgess.

Nothing that a deregistration of his contract can't fix

Mitchell deserves time off the paddock, not just for a shoulder to the head, but for past transgressions as well. However, it's not convincing that he deliberately attacked Manu's face.
2 linesmen and the ref didn't react: nor did players, with Rooster's Walker soccering the loose ball to continue the play, as his teammates supported him by bringing play from the right to centre field.
However, none of that means a dangerous and deliberate foul was not committed. Certainly, a shocking injury resulted from a high contact - but was it avoidable or not?
Look at the dramatic fall in the head height of Manu as he is dragged lower by Gagai, while he himself chooses to fall to allow a one handed, under arm off load as he realises that his progress is effectively over.
Judge the amount of fall by gauging Manu's head at the bottom of the Reflex sign:

Note:
1. all of this happens in 1 second, as Mitchell is racing across field to shut down the play as anyone defender would, especially a full back;
2. The camera's location and height are unchanging and there is no zoom - only the players are moving.
Again, level Manu's head with oe of the crowd:

Does that fall in head height represent the difference between the top of a chest and the cheekbone?
Mitchell deserves suspension - but did he set out to attack the head?
