Going to my local pub and having a cheese burger and a couple of drinks.
Would love to get away out of Sydney but getting to close to Christmas work wise to have too much time off so will go away up the coast ( hopefully ) early next year. Might get 2-3 days away somewhere pretty local but away from home depending on a few factors on what is opened.

As for fishing may just go to my old spot in the harbour which i haven't fished for years, my father used to say when we used to go for holidays up the coast that even though we did catch some good fish that i would come back to Sydney and have just as good or even better catches.

Book a trip to Greece for the European Summer the whole 3 months.

Thats the only thing i'm waiting for from a refund on my deposit from last year, had a small cruise booked around some of the Greek and Turkish islands, apparently it is guaranteed to come through in January next year but i wont hold my breath.
Haven't been to Greece since 2000 and was looking forward to it again.

Booked into my local pub for lunch on Monday, slightly peed off as had two friends who said they wanted to come but they said can i give them a couple of days to confirm, i said sure as the pub had 12.00, 12.30, 1 pm and 1.30 pm bookings available, waited more than a couple of days then rang them and they say oh no we cant go, geez thanks for telling me in advanced fellas, so now the only bookings they had were for 2 pm and 2.30 pm so now having a late lunch there, would have preferred earlier and maybe be one of the first through the door but oh well.

Just booked four nights in November to stay in Narrabeen by the lake, figured a stay in Sydney shouldn't be a major problem if things started going pear shaped again.

Was so nice to go to one of the local bowling clubs for a drink last night then out for dinner at a nearby Thai restaurant afterwards, didn't realise how much i missed doing something simple like that.

Star Casino after dinner. Not worth the notification.

Noticed that Star Casino has started advertising their buffet again, would be interesting to see how they operate it with large crowds. Last year after our first lock down i stayed at the Hydro Majestic Hotel and they still had their breakfast buffet set out but you went with a staff member and they would serve what you liked.

Same in a hotel I stayed at in Brisbane back in January. Be good if real buffets can make a return.
