Highlights of JC in Harrold Matts and local footy.
JC is 17, (18 next year) and is from the south coast.
He will play SG Ball next season and looking at being fast tracked. He is also training with our Flegg squad.
He is currently sitting at 6"3 and 116kg.

Thanks George Dragon for this highlight reel of JC. Looks like a real goer to me and it is great to see that the scouts of the club are finding these "special" kids that maybe one day will be the guys who will keep the Dragons in the top 8 for years to come.

Thanks George. Silky ball skills impressed me the most ( in Mcmuppet's days that would be taken out of his game ! ) Has he been brought in from elsewhere or a true local ? Not that it matters as we have done well "flying "players in from other junior areas.
Mate another question we all want answered : Has the emerging talent of the past 2 years always been there or is Pathways actually being enforced rather than given lipservice as in the Mcmuppets days ? The benefit is , say in JC's case and the other emerging forwards , is if you plan that he will be a NRL player from 2026 onwards is if we have an established forward in 2025 asking for more money then it gives you options to put a ceiling of what you are prepared to pay thus helps the club get full benefit in playing the salary cap game.

Hell to the f**king yeah.
Please let the footy gods by kind to this kid. We are dying for an absolute tearaway forward.

This kid looks good. Obviously given the quality of crap defence on show compared to NRL standards it's hard to judge.

But he can only play what in front of him. 2 years from now who knows how he could go?

Great stuff George. Like lots of other fans on here, he looks to have all the goods. Let's hope he gets the proper coaching and training down in junior reps and when he inevitably moves up to Flegg later during 2022. Exciting times for the club with some boom youngster and some big forwards coming through.
