Can anyone challenge the Dragons in the 2022 premiership?

I’m reliably informed that the Dragons have had their toughest preseason ever, with several players training the house down.

Having come through the preseason undefeated, including victories against 2 top 4 sides, the Dragons have reclaimed their rightful place as the February premiers.

It’s early days, but the Dragons are so far ahead of the other clubs at this stage that it’s hard to imagine them being run down.

I’m looking forward to watching the season unfold. It’s going to be an exciting race to be the side who has the honour of being beaten by the Dragons on Grand Final day.

You can't help but respect Hook. Changed the game, and now every kid that puts on that Red V will be willing to run through a brick wall for him.

Surely it can only be Brisbane, with the gun T Gamble running around, lost & bereft of ideas. Add to the mix the revolving door of 5/8, purely just the ghosts of Milf haunting Kevs razor sharp mind, there is only one result assured. Brisbane are the rightful 2022 preniers.

Ive said it in the Dragons forum but he was instrumental in laying the platform for Penrith.
If you look at the players he’s brought into FG that went on to have good careers, the list is long.

Will he win a premiership??? Maybe not but he’ll stabilise your club and there’s a market for coaches that can do that. Fans expect premierships but what I wanted was consistency. I’d take that over a one off year of glory.

Today’s the day that the Dragons start their 2022 premiers season.

The only thing we are likely to learn from today’s game is whether the Dragons intend to take an early lead in the premiership race, or build the season slowly.

Imagine though. First weekend of October. Panthers going up against the Dragons who have won 27 straight in the big one. It isn't even close. In the 78th minute a slimmed down Moses Suli provides a flick pass for Jesus to round out a 30-0 demolition. How good will this thread look?
