Can anyone challenge the Dragons in the 2022 premiership?

The Panthers will be feeling very honoured to have been granted the opportunity to test themselves against the 2022 premiers this Friday night. And also to be allowed to take part in the celebration of one of Rugby League’s all time greats.

Most analysts rate the Panthers as being a very good chance to take second spot this year, and if they can keep their key players fit over the long season, they may very well be the side that is beaten by the Dragons on Grand Final day.

One for the purists.

Hands out of the lolly jar ol'mate or the rough crowd are going to hear about it. It's not October yet.

I'll be battering up a few savs tomorrow night, then being the early game there will be time to dust off the Golden Girls box set before crawling under the doona.

Addendum: I can't wait to see young Slone at prop..

St George are going to flex their premiership muscles tonight.

I can feel it in the air.

Outstanding manoeuvring from the 2022 premiers tonight. Giving the Panthers false hope that they can be a contender for the title by throwing the game. That inflated sense of self confidence is going to really hurt the Panthers on the first weekend in October.

Special mention to Ben Hunt. Somehow he made us believe that those kicks were “accidents”. And Zac Lomax’s acting skills. Wow. The look on his face every time he dropped the ball had us truly believing that it wasn’t intentional.

Mbye gets credit for his cameo too. All round stellar acting performance from the 2022 premiers.

I'm nervous because in a GF match up, the team that won during the season typically loses the GF.

We survived the fourteen point half time lead against a Griffin coached team.

We may yet win it all.
Griffdawg with the 4d chess move nearly paid off. If the team had of stuck to the plan and not scored their first try, the 14 point lead would have come sooner giving them the extra vital few minutes they needed. Close Dragons, but no cigar.

Not a lot to say about this week’s match for the 2022 premiers.

I’m sure they’ll be grateful to the Sharks for providing them with an opposed training session, but in the context of the season, this match will quickly be forgotten.

Loos like the mighty Burgess has thrown a spanner in the premiership works. Might bring back bad memories for Jack as team morale sinks to and all time low?
