Have you tried some soft music? I have no idea but it may help.
I asked a friend for you and he said put him to bed but leave a night light on and pretend to sleep in the same room next to him. Leave the night light on so he can see you are there.
I did something similar with my little bloke. I would lay on the floor and argue with you merkins on my phone while he went to sleep. After ten minutes I would crawl on my belly out of the room like a massive f**ken weirdo and watch Buffy reruns with the missus.

My 22 month old son has had to move into his toddler bed, and he hates it - he won't sleep on it.

We've spent he last 4 nights trying to get him to sleep.

It's rough.
Keep him in his cot if he was happily sleeping in that. He will eventually out grow it and want a bed. My son was probably close to 3 before we moved him into a normal bed.

don’t let anyone say there are rules for when kids should sleep in a bed etc….

Have you tried the trick of leaving some clothes you've worn under the toddler bed, so the scent of parents stays in the room after you leave when he's fallen asleep? Not sure it works in the situation you're describing, sounds like it's more a touch/body proximity thing...

I'll give that a go.

He sometimes falls asleep, and then wakes up, hysterical.

I think it's a huge change for him, and he's unsettled :(

Cowboys need to clear some cap space to get luicano leilua in this year's cap.

Is there anyone in the cowboys squad that parra could chase for the remainder of this year to fill that last spot.
