Brooks will go to another club and absolutely smash it. I could see him doing well at NQLD or Melbourne. He’d be the one to send to Melbourne now, he went ok with Harry Grant feeding him , they’re a fullback down could throw Hughes to fullback. Although I heard some talk on fox that Luke could be gone for a few weeks
Yea Righto.. if u say so

Ego driven great players nead to be given some slack… Thats how all the great coaches of the great teams keep them performing at peak level…

I wouldn't call him a great player. He is a good player. It's interesting though how Madge and now Sheens and co are not great coaches.

I rate Nofo as a winger. He has defensive problems but he is on the wing and if everyone else does their job I doubt he is a big issue.

I don't think he is worth the contract he signed with us for but I also don't think it's that bad a deal. I can't though see him staying at the Storm because I can't see Melbourne paying his contract.

Read the link above about the swordfish(nofo sagitarian Rooster) that's prob got a bit to do with it.

I can imagine during the post serious concussion period that nofo went through, there could easily have been something where he slipped up, maybe because of his headache or whatever symptoms (these are some nasty nasty symptoms) that made him not attend some event, training, or he was late or whatever. I could easily see the club over reacting and treating him like an everyday player instead of one of the greatest players the club has had. We have all had situations where we get in trouble and we may have reacted because we thought we deserved better. Ego driven great players nead to be given some slack… Thats how all the great coaches of the great teams keep them performing at peak level… We havnt had many great players lately, so it’s not something that coaches at WT have had to deal with. Nofo is one of those and he was returning from a very serious concussion, 5 weeks out and he just wasn’t going to cop whatever was dished out to humiliate him, whatever it was. He deserved better. Probably.
We’ve had a history of treating the champs like chumps, with pancake Pascoe at the helm, when there’s drama between coach and player.

That is a pretty long bow to draw in relation to Pascoe. I don't even believe we've treated players poorly.

Just the “arrogant” ones. You know, the worst of the worst !! - in some peoples eyes

I'm not saying that. I'm talking about players in general at the club. So I'm not stating it's cool to treat the arrogant players (whoever they are) poorly and treat the rest of them well.

Who have we treated poorly ?

“Drinking while recovering from injury after spending time on the sideline with concussion“. Big fkn deal..None of those cants would have known what he really went through and because it was longer than 3 weeks you can bet it was worse than bad. I bet he was too proud to go on about it too..

Fk the Pascoe party line.. There’s always another side to things. I don’t know what that was, but I doubt Nofos going to just come out punching (figuratively) for no reason. He’s a proud man and a club champion/great I don’t care what anyone else says, or doesnt say hiding behind likes. They should have treated him like one.

This doesn't sound like a big deal does it.

WA i think the issue is its been on multiple times apparently , and goes back to when he was dropped from the leaders group. There was also his comments on social media publicly blaming those around for his defensive floors. And also a suggestion he has bagged out fellow team mates directly as well as behind their back.
Most if not all the roster decisions now would be run past Robbie/Benji and Shines and if there wasnt an issue with Nofo he would be playing 1st's here and not being sent to Uncle Belanmy's football boarding school.

If you're being treated for concussion with the object being getting back into contact sport asa(safely)p ...then you can be safe in assuming that medication is used in conjunction with rest...putting alcohol through your brain at the same time isn't the smartest thing to do if you're serious about a full and speedy recovery...so it actually is a pretty big deal to do that..his teammates were the one's wanting him kicked up the arse for it.

Yea that’s all theory mate.. He’s only human. He could have been contemplating suicide for all we know…like I say we don’t know what he went through…I think he was out for 4-5 weeks. That’s bad concussion

Woah hold on, he is a professional sportsman, earning somewhere around $500k a season? Yes it is a big deal and I would have expected better from one of the older blokes.
He certainly has choices, he can do what’s expected of him or he can go and play park footy, for $500 a win?

Of course I have to have the last say:
If Michael Jordan had of told his team mates the equivalent to “stop coming out of the fkn line” or “stay the Fk on YOUR man so Im not left with 2 to tackle”, after the game that would have been the end of that problem. Maybe someone should have backed Nofo up like the coach. After all he’s one of the captains. And he’s right! But no no no, shhh, stop that Nofo.. bad boy!

So he goes off and does it online coz noones listening or his teammates are having a cry to the coach

Agree Tigerm. Mediocracy is a cancer and spreads throughout and becomes a culture itself. Rehab from injuries is just as important as performance on the field. Being paid as a professional means you are required to conduct yourself as a professional.

The Parra win over the Panthers has got me worried that now more than ever Papali’i will want to stay at the Eels.

I hope the Tigers work on replacing the three already leaving with signing at least three quality players before they even contemplate letting Papali’i of the hook. Then and only then enter into negotiations with Parra about them paying for the contract of one of their players we really want. Out of their salary cap of-course.

I assume that he has contract with us (he needs to remember that and that they offered peanuts) surely we can’t afford to let him go now, with so many of our SR gone, he’ll just have to suck it up.

He might kick stones for a while, but he comes across as someone who will have a dig when it gets going?
