What do the Gold Coast bring?

Hiring a coach then instantly looking for his replacement shows how useless the merkins running the place are.
Are we sure there are truth to these rumours? If just add that if there was a genuine chance of attracting Bellamy to the club they would be crazy not to jump on that. IMO coaches are the most valuable commodity in the NRL (yes more so than halves or anything else). Getting someone like Bellamy to your club is the sort of thing that can be a game changer for your club.

The NRL should tell Gould he is banned from commentary unless he goes and takes the GM job for the Titans. That is the only good Gould can do now.

I mean if Bellamy does decide to leave the Storm, the reality is there would be very few clubs not chasing him, regardless of how many years they've signed their current coach for.

If this clause does exist, at least Hannay is protected in that he will retain a coaching role at the club at his current pay in the very slim chance that Bellamy decides to leave the Storm, go to the Gold Coast and decide to be a head coach versus more of a head of football.
