Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

That was sorta my point, he’s young enough to be moulded into what you want him to be, if, he actually is able to be?
His size and strength are a good platform.

Im holding a candle for Blorey as well. I hope he’s a Jack Bird type and comes on the stronger after injury.

If I was running the game, I’d make it compulsory for clubs to share information about treatments, medications and recovery tips for players. Everyone has an interest in getting our heroes back on the park and living free of pain etc. I might suggest it to the rlpa.

Retirements like that often have more to it then what will be told publicly.
I see we are cutting dead wood which is fine but who replaces all the people we are letting go.

I would have thought all club doctors would discuss and share info if asked or required?

Re: Blore (he could be a goodun for us), we do have some history with these things, trouble is, they mostly get fixed then leave?

LOL.
If, and it's a big IF . . . . but if Mitchy comes back, rhyno will say he's washed up and a downhill skiing hack. A great move from Parra to get rid of him.
No amount of money will get Moses to go back to the tigers after all the abuse he and he’s family have copped over the last 5years years

don’t gotta stress over Moses or Brown they are both loyal and love Parra and will sign long term contracts

I thought you were talking about Nathan (no loyalty there by the looks)?

The Tigers are reportedly launching an audacious bid to bring Mitchell Moses back to the club — and if they don’t get him they’ll go after Dylan Brown.

meh, to both of them, imo.

First up, rhyno . . . it's good to see you back on deck at the mighty WT forum page.
How's the pain after . . . well, you know . . . THAT game ?
I hope you're OK now.
God, it must have killed you to watch that woeful first half. Like, knowing your team was absolutely zero chance after just 14 minutes. Heart breaking stuff. What a waste of a Grand Final. The NRL should have a plan in place that if a GF team is putting in a sub standard performance like Parra did . . . they don't come back in the second half and the 3rd placed team has a chance to make a proper game of it. The NRL has a lot invested in it's show-piece game and it's a disgrace that a choking team like Parra robs us all of a quality Grand Final game. Thank God for beer !
You would have been so wound up and brimming with expectations. All the media hype. 37 years. The Top Gun formula. You would have slapped the monkey so hard all week that it would've been in a sling by Thursday.
It must have broken your spirit to see your team choke. But seriously, did you expect anything different ?
Mind you, I did tell you they wouldn't compete in the big games. While I knew that you wouldn't listen, it comforts me to know that I tried my best to let you know that your team just doesn't have what it takes.
Now . . . . Moses is a cat. We all know that. He goes missing under pressure, and screams barbarically at his team mates if they drop a ball. We know what direction he skii's in.
He is NOT the sort of player we want at the glorious WT.
Unless of course he signs with us.
Then he is OK by me, for 3 reasons:
Firstly, coz we get him. Second, coz Parra lose him. Third, you would lose your shit.
Anyway, good to see you haven't done anything silly just coz your team let you down after all that nonsense hype.

Rhyno is simply referring to our “buy back the farm” policy (overs division) once our players are well over their best, chronically injured, have been slagging us out for half a decade and looking to retire. Then they come into view.

37 is the physical age our players play in when they reach 23, having hit the mental accomplishment of 14 ( 1 year more than Benji).

I like rhynos visits, it’s like the cat coughing up a fur ball. A great sense of relief when pussy finally gets her breath back.

Sheens courting players during the world cup has just been described by Dean Ritchie as " while not illegal is unethical" and should ring alarm bells....we'll I say fkn GREAT and not before time...we've been on the receiving end of "unethical" long enough and I'll buy Sheens a couple of drinks just for making an underhanded move on behalf of this too long doormat club....take the gloves off and keep 'em off....no more Mr Nice Guys!!

This is the moment where Lee needs to step in and start threatening to sue anyone who claims Sheens is talking to these players about coming to Tigers. Something to the degree of "please provide evidence" etc etc.

Not because we need to, just for a bit of off season fun

Didn't realise it was unethical to say hello to fellow countrymen in another country?
The paper bag he gave them just had a vegemite sandwich in it and an invitation to a game of golf?
Benjis juvenile recruitment approach

“ Hey bro, sign with tigers and I’ll get you a root”

texts only helped us land Charlie.

Who was broken hearted to receive a rubber sex toy and a photo of Benji getting the CCM in his dragons jersey.

So we had to send Tim on the assignment:

Sheens, Tim Sheens.

Promise them anything to sign up, worry about the details later I say.

It’s a bit early in the day, but shed poem for brother @The Rosco

Bribe, steal, lie and cheat
That’s the way to sign up meat
We played fair and all the rest
And won the spoon, failed at best

Softcock Tigers easy touch
Spoke to Marquees, they made us blush
Fathead Latrell, Munster Mash
On our knees, it wasn’t flash.

f**k you Vlandys, Abdo too
Integrity high road you stupid tools
It’s time now for a different noise
The Tiges are here with our boys

Years of same team final eight
Except for Payten, coaching great
Whatever it takes, we will breach and pay
To the finals series, get out of our way.
