Metro Brisbane, north side. We moved here from Sydney in 2018 and bought this place outright. Bought a brand new house for 440K, sold for 625K. We already have a place to move to - it's on a larger block and not so close to neighbours.

There are plenty of other benefits, that’s why southerners move here. For instance, our last quarterly electricity bill (no solar) was $224.00. There’s free ambulances, too. On the down side the hospitals are struggling under our current health system. The weather is great.

Everything is within driving distance. We’re doing that before we’re condemned to the 15 minute city.

I’m booked in for August but have the season pass so will get down there a few times before that. They should open up more terrain next week.

We are just doing the weekend in July... I am currently the only skier in the family so I get outvoted most years when planning holidays. 16yr old daughter is showing some more interest this year and is bringing a GF along so if her interest improves, we might get down there more than once every 4 years.
