The whole players need time to move is crazy when you can have a window for 2-3 months at the end of the season for the next year. Ben Hunt was ready to move mid week to the gold coast last month.

It does my head in mate. Also a player can talk any time to a club they just can't receive an offer. So in theory I could go for coffee with you and say in 2026 I have x available and you would be a great fit if you were around. Oh and the next 2 years I have this available. You can then go back and force a release - like Hunt tried.

Clubs can't move bad contracts unless other clubs take it over. Players only can be punished by missing out on performance bonuses which if they were performing they would get! Bonus payments are not a given right.

Dogs is the one, they are signing for point of signing.
They will release or lose some good players, this is typical Gus.
They still haven't signed there young centre yet

The more I look at our squad and the players other teams keep signing, the more I think we should be able to upgrade 1-2 middle range players for top level ones and not go close to breaking the cap.

They signed that kid Oloapu, Gus paid $300k release to Broncs.
Had him given a couple of runs, now Sexton signed and utilities who can play in halves, then Gus says he can play lock.
Big difference in coin, I can see him asking for release straight to Dolphins.
Love him or hate him Bennett would be so much better to deal with then Gus
