Watching the Dogs v Roosters pre-game. What was the story with Bobcat leaving us? I always felt like that was a huge loss that took a lot to recover from. Pains me seeing him as a dogs legend.
Salary cap squeeze didn't help the fact the dogs were cheating when they signed him in 2002 and was too late when got caught in late 2002 for NRL to cancel the contract.

They basically let the Dogs keep the squad together by taking paycuts and won in 2004.

Can you imagine the press and other fan comments if Parra had signed Jennings, of course it’s nothing to see here Roosters.
Just got home from the bowlo i didn't realise he was playing gee the chooks snuck him in under the radar in the 17.

Simmonson got carted off for a foul high shot in the 2nd minute, and Parra weren’t allowed to utilise the 18 th man , go figure. Bailey said that’s the worst swinging arm that he’s ever been hit with, have the Riff become the latest koalas.

See, Roosters expected to win, came in and played soft. It can't be helped. It's not Robinson's fault. How could he see this coming?

They still might've won if the Dogs were down on confidence but unfortunately for them the Dogs are pumped this week. That's how we get upsets.

Got away with taking a player out 2 weeks in a row..

This might come as a surprise but I rate BA a lot higher than Robbo as a coach..

If Robbo was at any other club he would have won 0 premierships...

Ummm... :black_joker:

Well if you could see it coming - or see it so frequently in #pouhindsight - then surely a full time professional NRL coach can put in preventative measures to reduce the chance of it happening?

I am sure if BA had won 3 comps in 12 years the odd shocker in a half of footy is accepted.

I just think you can't compare them. Ricky Stuarts's record at the Chooks is very different to his record at Parramatta, for example. It's apples and oranges.

Part of me suspects Bellamy might 'fail' at most clubs, but he can obviously coach. So can Robinson. I'm sure there's better coaches than Arthur but he is a good one.
